It is an impressive Chinese food you may want to revisit. Food is well served. Taste is delicious. So yummy. Service is excellent.

I used to frequent The Duck King when I was living in Jakarta, so it was nice to see that it was present in Jogja too. This location, in Amplaz, was recently renovated, and the food is essentially identical to what one gets in the Hartono Mall location. In addition to the fact that neither of the two The Duck King locations in Jogja serves pork (hence, no pork xiao long bao), the taste of dim sum--especially hakau--seems to be somewhat inferior to their Jakarta counterparts. For the quality of food, the price is indeed on the higher side.

Yes, it's pricey and the interior is very standard. But, food were delicious and super yummy. Size of food were big and you coukd share for 2-3 persons. We ordered : Gurami fish fried with mayonnaise, pakchoy, Onde-onde and Nasi Goreng Gandum. I recommend all those dishes. Sadly we hadn't more space in our stomach for dessert, and I would love to try next visit. The restaurant's location next to XXI, so it's great for waiting until your studio is open.
One thing I don't like, when we asked take away food, they're using styrofoam. Everybody screaming about global warming, garbage and go green, and they're still using it. We are expecting the $$$ restaurants should care more about it. Please please ????

Very delicious. I love the duck and the sauce very typical. Always order 1 duck for two person. So full this stomach. Haha

We came eat someting with my family and we love to share all the food in the middle. The service is ok even if they are not very focus on their job. Sometimes the food missed some flavour and seasonning but it s ok.
Thanks we will definitely comeback.
