IMO, this is the best gudeg in town.
been here every eid-holiday, every year, maybe it’s because my mother is a regular costumer since she’s in college until now, so maybe it’s our kind of habit ????
I always assure myself to eat this every year because in my memory, this one is the real taste of gudeg ????
the krecek is spicey yet balance with the sweetness of the gudeg paste!

now they had a portion of the gudeg packed in can, and they provide a frozen shipping too with Paxel ????????

One of the best Gudeg in town, but personally this is the best in town! Tons of memories happened since I always had gudeg mbarek for Eid Fitri. You can also get an amazing experience by having this authentic gudeg.

typical yogyakarta food, the place is comfortable, order directly at the counter, the taste is quite good, it's just that I love salty food as a base so it's hard to add more ????????

Among other 'popular' gudegs in Yogyakarta, Gudeg Hj Amad is my fave as It's not too sweet. Quite pricey as their target market is more like tourists rather than locals.

One of the best gudeg restaurants in Jogja. The taste is more to the sweet version. Delicious. The service is excellent and now fast. We can dine in or take away. Besides the fresh gudeg, visitors can also buy canned gudeg and some other products. Restroom and musholla (small-sized masjid) are also provided.

Being one of the top go-to Gudeg on my chart for years..Gudeg Bu Hj Amad was my mother's as well as my wife's favorite.

The slight hint of sweetness is balanced by the subtle tingle of heat from their Krecek. And on dining hours..they have this love keroncong orchestra on-site

Lastly...I think as more UGM graduates had spread to far flunk places, hence their gudeg and krecek is now also available in canned styles.

Great taste, an authentic Yogya traditional food. Gudeg was made from young jackfruit, seasoning with many kinds of herbs. Taste was awesome, not the sweet and not too hot. Location was easy to access, near with Gajah Mada University. Price was fair enough, worth with the taste.
