The best mpekmpek! I usually buy it raw and cook it again at home. The taste still as the first time I ate it here.

Still, it taste so goodddd! I always love to eat mpek keriting, and it’s pretty hard to find a good one at Jakarta. Will always buying these foods from here again and again

The menu is quite varied. I tried tunu (roasted pempek) for the first time, idk it still had flour taste for me, maybe just not my kind of food. The others were quite delicious, didn't taste fishy. The brown sauce (i think it's called cuko?) was sweet, sour, and little bit spicy.

Tekwan is one of the menu you should try. And don't forget their otak-otak, the size is quite fat, and the sauce is really good, worth the price.

In my humble opinion, this is the best pempek in Kelapa Gading (and Jakarta?) the fish flavour is consistent thru the years. Normally ordered the mie, lenjer u0026 tahu combo but this time enjoyed the lenggang goreng instead. The martabak or roti cane kari is spot on too. When dining in, can't resist to have some fresh otak2 they strategically place on the table ????

I am originally from Palembang and pempek I usually eat is in dempo area in Palembang. This one doesnt deserve a 'good' pempek for me, this is just an okay one. But the otak otak tho, so good! And with the kacang...yum! It costs 10.000 per piece for otak2, while pempek costs you 14.000 per piece (the small one), but when it came, the pempek size is huge!

Kacang merah costs you 30.000 with a lot of kacang inside! It is 4 out of 5 because the pempek is just okay.

Fish Cake House!

They have many variation of dish and snack made from fish cake base. Variant wise like empek-empek (fried or grilled), crackers, otak-otak, soup, martabak etc.

Taste is very good never change, portioning is wise not too big or too small, free flow sauce and shrimp powder (my favourite! Makes the food more nyummy). Another thing was, I don't know if this is just a quincideance or not but I always notice that everytime I dine-in here there was always foreigner (like Japanese and Korean), the taste and the spice level seems like fine for foreigner.

One of my favourite is the otak-otak with peanut sauce. For the peanut sauce I like to mix it with the empek-empek sauce and shrimp powder (looks like in the the picture) so nyummy! ????????????

Taste were great and very authentic. Place were a bit small but they provide baby chair. Price was more expensive but I guess it was worth it since its hard to find good pempek in Jakarta. Parking was hard during lunch and dinner.
