Lovely place that is often misunderstood.
The "chicken church" is well administered and for the 25k admission fee, you get a guided tour through the building and even some delicious local snack.
Seeing how a place for all religions can contribute to peace and cultural understanding is great. Keep spreading love!

It is a lovely serene place to visit if you are staying in Yogyakarta. The idea of this church is amazing and there is place for everyone. The cafe is small, but very nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The view from the top is definitely worth the small narrow staircase.

Nice place to visit, especially in sunrise. The view is very amazing. You can see 3 mountain from the top of the building, of course you also can see Borobudur. The food also tasty. L Great place!

A really nice place to be. Gave me a spiritual sense in a calming way. House of prayer they said.
They have a good view at their cafe. The free casava is delicious.
I will definitely come back again.

The most inspiring object of architecture I've ever met. Beautiful value and ideology that form this chicken (actually pigeon) shaped that I thought was once some silly looking buildings. Almost never you would ever met a church / temple with musala, Christian chapel including Goa Maria.

From the aspect of service and maintenance, everything is excellently managed by diverse employees. Just expect some queue and little additional transaction to climb steep hill.

Great story about the place background and the meaning of it, a little bit overpriced entrance ticket and SUV shuttle price, but it's worth to visit. The overall visit will take around 1.5-2 hour especially if you have to queue to enter the building. Watch for the twisted ending of your journey here at the top of the building that you have to discover yourself :)

Huge, dove shape church for all 5 religion. They have a small cafe that sells merchandise and light snack, as well as coffees. The view is very beautiful and on clear day, you may see the church is pointing to Mount Merapi
