recomended place to visit, different than other sunrise spots, bukit barede preserves the nature while making the place beautiful, the friendly local people also entertains the visitors with a traditional music (gamelan) and traditional dance on the way back after the sunrise.

*The price is good considering that the staff always clean the place so well, look after the visitors and helpful, i had a good experience with the staff, they’re in a hurry finding a camera tripod for me when they saw that was having a problem placing my phone when i want to make a sunrise time lapse, i’m so impressed and surprised on how they responded, it’s really nice and attentive. The staff deserve to earn it after all of their efforts to always keep the place clean, make the visitors comfortable and entertain.

However nature is unpredictable if sunrise doesn’t show up, don’t let disappointment spoil the journey, there are so many more things to enjoy in bukit barede, nature, clean air, beautiful panorama, good local hospitality and good local entertainment or you can sit down and relax a bit and enjoy a coffee/tea in the warung near the parking area with a village atmosphere before continue the journey.

A lovely hill to enjoy the golden sunrise with spectacular landscape. Affordable ticket price for only 15K domestic and 30K foreigner.

Nice idea to take the sunrise tour here through Kresna. There are some odd things though - like the way you had to pay an extra Rp50.000,00 to watch the sun rise from a tree platform.

This is an alternative place to enjoy Borobudur's Sunrise but this place is different than Puthuk Setumbu.
Has less crowds than other sunrise spot and its well managed.
You may need to climb for about 15-20 min to the top so get here early in the morning to secure good spot to watch sunrise

Great spot to catch sunrise, but ensure to check the weather forecast for this area, still not much visitors, unlike the punthuk setumbu, which is too crowded
