Nice location, friendly staff, good food and fair prices.

I can highly recommend the Okonomiyaki, which was really tasty!

Vegetarian options are available.

If you are looking for Japanese sushi (as opposed to American or Korean), this is the only place in Ubud. I stayed here for 8 months and tried them all, Warung Sushi is the best

I went here some time ago when I lived in the area and found the food great, as they make all food fresh to order took about 15 mins to get fresh California roll - not so long. I checked reviews before I went, this time (2 September 2018) and did not find anything to complain about. Udon was actually Udon, (I made a point of checking it after seeing a review). The fish was great, fresh and tasty. saw the owner who I met there before and he advised he has had major staff and chef changes in last few months, so had to re-train a lot of people, but looks like its back to what it use to be good, cheap and tasty Japanese food. I'll definitely go again.

I rarely give 1-star reviews. I was so disappointed with this place - I couldn't even finish the majority of the meal, and I was extremely hungry. Even the service was lackluster. It's a shame because I was really hoping to find more good sushi places. I'd be happy to try again and review if it's gotten better.

Authentic home-cooked food. Don't expect perfect Japanese food like you will find in fine Japanese restaurants, but tasty classics cooked and presented with obvious care. We eat a lot of Japanese food, including during many visits to Japan and found this to hit the spot nicely when we were craving something different from Indonesian food. Also the trip out here especially during the day is a great way to escape the crowds in central Ubud. We didn't try sushi or sashimi, so cannot comment on that. But we had okonomiyaki, fried pork set and mixed tempura and thought they were great.

I’m sorry to read some bad reviews here, but my experience at Warung Sushi was absolutely satisfying. The owner himself was taking the orders so the service was outstanding. As for the food, yeah, really good too.
