Awesome hotel with great views, clean and well maintained rooms u0026 facilities (they mop the floors when making up the room too). Air conditioning is powerful. Fantastic service and hospitality, and they can arrange for everything from scooters to massages (which was quite good as well).
Wish that they could be more eco friendly. Drinking water is provided in tiny 300ml bottles and soap/shampoo is also in disposable bottles. Many other hotels have reusable bottles and soap/shampoo dispensers
Lighting in the toilet could also be improved as it is a bit dim at the shower, WC, and basin area.
Overall though, our best stay in Bali and will definitely come back the next time we are in Ubud.

Nice stay and we really enjoyed the rooms and the wonderfully relaxing pool area. The place is very pretty and well designed with the welcome explanation pack providing many interesting stories about the owner and precious tenants like Mick Jagger and the Reagan's.
Not too expensive considering the quality of room and stay. They also organise good tours of Ubud and the highlights of the area.
Only reason it is not 5* is unfortunately we received food poisoning from some of the juice prepared in the hotel pool bar, but staff were kind and helpful to us in the morning!

Great resort, the property itself is so nice I had a hard time leaving.
The room I had had an amazing view of the jungle.
Restaurant and breakfast were also great.
The hotel has a shuttle to the main part of y us that runs a few times a day. It is near some restaurants that are in walking distance but most places are in the central part of Ubud.
Wifi was pretty standard for Bali hotels.

Service and amaneties were awesome. This hotel is located in a beautiful place. Some bedrooms have a mountain view as well as the main pool. Bare in mind, there are lots of steps so you might want to book the bedrooms by the entrance, who have their own semi private pool. Food was great and bedrooms were very nice!
Staff was incredible and location was perfect for us as it was away from main, noisy busy area but just 10 minute drive away. Still, good restaurants and a nice spa at a walking distance.
Only downside was the manicure service. It was not good and overpriced for what I got. It put me off from getting pedicure there as well. But, I won't hold this against he hotel as I think they call someone from outside.

The hotel is on multiple steps and elevations (no lift). Our room was luckily on the top level so if you're someone that has knee problems, we recommend requesting a room at the top. It was convenient that a staff member took our luggage to the room.
We rented a villa with a pool. It was a bit outdated. The windows in the patio area did not close all the way as well as the windows leading to the pool. There is only one AC unit in the room, which can only turn on with the hotel key. Only 1 key (actual key) was provided so when we came back to the room, we put in the key to turn the AC on, which took a while. No AC in bathroom and toilet/shower area. The breakfast was good. You choose one main, one starter, one juice and were provided bread, butter/jam, croissants; pretty decent portion. All of the breakfast area is open concept and not very clean.
We did encounter a lizard in our room that escaped and hid when we called hotel staff to remove it. There didn't seem to be bug treatment on outside of the rooms as there was small bugs that crept in the villa.
The reason we stayed here was for convenience (closer to Mt. Batur [1 hour ride], Room4 dessert, our cooking class, and a few spas and laundromats). We ended up leaving early because it wasn't what we were expecting.

I stayed here for two nights and kicked myself for not giving myself more time. I can’t wait to come back (especially with my partner). The vibe is so relaxing, the atmosphere is so romantic, and the facilities are top notch. Breakfast was AMAZING and almost overly abundant, and the dinner menu was great as well! It’s outside of the center of chaotic Ubud, but a motorbike ride into the city costs practically nothing. Again, I can’t wait to get back.
