Stayed for 5 days. It was right at the end of Sanggingan street so it's pretty far from the town centre. The staff that checked me in wasn't very friendly, the others are fine. The female dorm on the 3rd floor had no balcony and there was only a small window so it was pretty dark. Also it was hot as the AC wasn't working properly. Hot water didn't work and one of the bathrooms on the 3rd floor was really dirty. The wifi only worked on the 1st floor, although there was a router on 3rd floor. What I liked was that the bed was quite spacious, we got our own private space with curtains, and it was quiet so it's good for a good night sleep. They didn't change the sheets.

Awesome place for backpackers! The first night we got here some of the other guests offered us free food. Later we discovered it was one of their birthdays so we decided to go out partying, lets just say the CP-lounge dancefloor has never been so lit. There is a nice community area at the first floor where we played card with the other guests almost every night. The bunkbeds were better then we expected and the staff was really friendly. Any backpackers passing by Ubud should totally give this place a try!

Its very smelly, smelling as old shoes, its also far away from center.
Its pretty dark inside. It does not have any nice chill area.
Definitely would not recomment.
The worst place so far in two month traveling and I am use to stay in cheap hostels.

You get what you pay for, the beds are reasonably comfy, I stayed 4 nights but for some reason they put me in the mixed dorm room when I asked for the all female room - who knows what's going on there. Also there is no breakfast as advertised. It is also really far away from Ubud centre, you can walk which doesn't take long but walking back is uphill and after a long day of walking around the shops it nearly killed me to walk back. Also the shower was cold - no hot water - I think this is a Bali thing but if I had known before I wouldn't of booked it as it's hard to wash long hair without hot water. It's also quite akward as you get couples sharing the little pods and you can hear them kissing etc so that's not really pleasant to listen to. Also the pods get waaaaaay too hot. There's no Aircon inside the pods and when you have the blind shut no air gets in so it's like a little oven.

Lovely place! i was sleep in here for 2 days and it feels like home so much. i met some other tourist who share their experience in bali and this hostel is so cheap!

Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. There are rats everywhere. The staff smoke inside so the place stinks. They didn't supply a blanket for the first 3 nights I was there. They turn the fridge off at night so your food will rot in the heat.

A really good place for it's price. Comfortable beds, good shower, working zone one the first floor. ) Recommended !
