Myself (U.K.) and friend (Aus) visited The Suku everyday when staying in a local villa for a week. It became our second base - We stayed for 2-4 hours at a time - breakfast, lunch and dinner between various activities around Ubud. It was the perfect hang out spot for us do eat, drink, read, and do laptop work.
There was a variety of very comfy, well designed furniture and architecture (an air-con inside space, and fan-ventilated, shaded outdoor space). It was very private and quiet, away from the crowds. Staff were very very friendly and would check regularly that we had everything needed (without being invasive). Food was high quality, safe, and made with ingredients grown in the local garden.
Overall, this was my place to hang out in my month trip to Bali!
