We had a nice stay in this Hotel despite first impression was not satisfying: we found a lot of ants in our room. Staff was super steady and in a few minutes everything was fixed. This hotel is situated in the middle of the forest so if you don't really mind some insect or the noisy singing of a nightly forest bird (yes, until 3am!) you can choose this nice stay, otherwise look elsewhere. It is not in the center of Ubud, but you can have a pretty nice walk to go downtown (we really enjoyed it), but you will need a taxi to come back (an easy find for 100 k idr or hotel shuttle twice a day). Breakfast was very good. Gym is pretty basic. Rooms are full of moisture (remember, you are in the forest). Staff is great, congratulations to Dwi that was always ready to help, even on her day off: without her assistance we wouldn't have enjoyed this place.

Nice resort and very affordable. But maybe it should be more fixed in some parts like gym, and yoga place cause it looks scary now after 2 years pandemic. You should try their free service bike. It's very silent and also comfy places to stay. Very recommended

I’m glad we stayed at the Lokha Ubud, which is only a few minutes away from the Campuhan Ridge and a whole bunch of friendly warungs and spas. It seems that it’s a popular location because it’s pretty easy to get a ride back to the hotel without much fuss.

It’s secluded and away from the busy streets, so it’s nice and peaceful to listen to the sounds of nature. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the ridge to the Ubud Palace/Market area which is pretty convenient.

I’m only subtracting one star because it needs a little bit of updating and some bug control. Our room was crawling with giant ants and that was a little disturbing when I’m trying to take a bath. Also, you have to walk up this giant hill to get to the streets for food.

We stay one night here to remember our honeymoon trip on 2016, unlucky our room is still in progress renovation so we got another downgrade room, got refund from agoda and re-book from the hotel

We understand since covid came 2 years ago this hotel stop operating and they just start to open again several months ago.

We hope next time can see the full beauty of the lokha again.

During our stay crew are really helpfull and we still can take free shuttle to Ubud Centre.

Food are delicious

Thank you, hope we can come again next time.

The property is very well maintained.
The food quality and taste is very good and the staff is also very polite and helpful.
One can enjoy the beauty of nature with modern facilities in the room.
Would definately recommend this hotel to the tourists .

We stayed at room 404. As the resort is amongst the jungle, do be prepared to deal with some occasional cobwebs here and there, ants etc. We think it is inevitable given the environment.

Pros
Loved to be surrounded by the jungle and greens. The location is slightly outskirt of ubud centre, however, we absolutely loved the peacefulness of it. The pool was great too for a chill swim. WiFi connection was stable and we could use the laptop to watch Netflix.

There are some eateries a short walk out - we highly recommend WARUNG Bukit sari.

Cons
The room could do with a bit more of upkeeping / upgrading. For example, the fridge seemed old, the wood in the closet seemed to be rotting as 'wood crumbs' would be found everyday, the aircon didn't seem to work as the temperature outside seemed cooler than inside with the aircon on at 18 degrees, the towels could do with replacement as some towels looked quite old.

Overall a 3.5 stars stay for us. Would consider staying here again given the value for money

The hotel is under full on renovation but accepting reservations. We came here to have some rest, we even asked before booking if there is any noise - they assured us that 'its in the jungle so no noise from the street' - but 'forgot' to mention that full on renovation from 8 am is happening at several locations at the same time so the noise is just unbearable. It didn't help to close the terrace door. The rooms smell of humidity and my nose completely closed up during sleep. Otherwise the location is beautiful
