The quintessential Ubud attraction. Beautiful greenery all around albeit a bit commercialized. You can park in one of the nearby places, enjoy view from one of the many restaurants and cafes or you can trek down all the way or trek to the Swing.
Enough and many photo opportunities to be had. A small entry fee and "donation" needs to be paid but seems worth the price.
Come here during early morning or late evenings as afternoons can get unbearably hot.

Beautiful place! I like it more as it is not artificial for tourists, it is real place for local people. If you can choose - go in May/early June or September/early October as in late July when I was it was harvest few weeks before and rice is not grown, few fields have only water inside as they are preparing for new season.
For walking on fields - enter from the last parking spot, after all famous restaurants. There is a walking path and bridge to cross on other side.

Pretty rice terrace.

Very instagram tourist oriented, to the point where it lost its authentic feel.

Everything is set up with picture frames and displays for the “perfect picture”.
The rice terrace is smaller than we expected, however we have no frame of reference.
The fields are well laid out with foot paths and stairs where needed.

Be mindful: many shops along the streets pretend to sell tickets to the rice fields, however they only sell access to the view! Make sure to go to the official tourist information office to get the real hiking tour tickets.

Halfway through the hike, you’ll come across a stand selling cold coconuts. Do yourself a favor and buy one. They’re the best we’ve had in Bali and after you drink the water, they cut them in half and make spoons out of the husk to eat.

The swings are a fun time. This is a great place for pictures. The rice terraces are cool to check out. The food is good and the beer is cold. Nice little tourist spot.

Such an amazing experience! The rice fields are incredibly beautiful and you get to walk through them and have a different perspective of the busy city of Ubud. There is a small fee to enter but it’s totally understandable. There are a few photo booths and zip-lines which are a bit expensive but totally worth it.

Good spot to try the swing, photos and just relax with the view. Doesn’t have much trail for walk and explore further. Free of charge. Car parking located nearby. We park at the restaurant so there is no charges and then enjoy cold drinks with infinity pool

One of the most beautiful places in Bali and not only. Amazing scenery and breathtaking view. I tried the zip line and it is the best way to see how majestic is this place. If you don't have any phobia don't miss It. Also there are swings there that you can try. This is a must visit place while you are in Bali. Walk around to see this place and take beautiful photos from different spots!
