This place really is excellent. The photos are true - it’s a wonderful peaceful location. Great food - not budget Bali prices but worth it and still cheaper than equivalent in western countries of course, so treat yourself.
After the nice but touristy-busy rice fields just up the road, this was a welcome chill out zone. View is as good as the rice fields anyway! (I was happy to support the local economy with fees/donations at the rice fields but prefer more authentic experiences).

Absolutely best place! Amazing atmosphere, views, the service is better than most 4 or 5 stars. Very affordable but the quality is really superb!!! One of the best experiences! Definitely recommended for a few days layover or for a longer stay where you can go all around the north by bikes (rent them cheaper from the hotel too)

Love the view and the dogs! The food is good, prices reasonable. The only thing is the ants everywhere, those big ants. Maybe some essential oil or deterrent could help keep them away? I understand that it’s out in the open though so very little they can do. Worth a visit!

Nice and peaceful.

Initially thought we’d be overlooking the rice patty fields but it was just jungle. It was nice though. Food was good. Big coconut was presented nicely but wasn’t that great actually. Not like your typical young coconut. Almost like they reused the coconut and just put some coconut water in there. It was BIG though. No coconut flesh to eat though. More just like coconut snot. Aside from that, the rest of our experience was good. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was tasty. There were some ants running around but they didn’t get to us.

The room was very spacious with a huge bathroom and a huge covered balcony. Service very friendly. The only problem was the stairs to the room we're very steep and was quite a hike....for those with weak knees...not at all good. The food was decent and the pool was clean and we'll kept. There were many coconut trees in the gardens and if one did wander around, one should be really careful as we witnessed a whole bunch of coconuts fall... fortunately nobody was there. If we ever go back to Ubud, we would definitely go there but to a room closer to the reception.
