Outstanding! I was lucky to find out about the annual three days of performance by this amazing group of musicians and dancers in Ubud, and got a ticket for the last day. There are many opportunities to see gamelan ensembles in Bali but this group offer something very special, for 20 years the organisation has taught the traditional skills of the music and dance to young people here in Ubud. The level of passion, ability and artistry on show here is truly inspiring and the joy of their performance comes through in a powerful way. The group sometimes present shows and workshops overseas. So check out their website and if you can get to one of their rare performances, take the chance and you will be rewarded at a deep level.
