I love this place, food is authentic and healthy. If you want to find authentic Japanese food at affordable price, Kafe Topi definitely will be the right place.

Omurice is so good, the tomato sauce is homemade and it’s fresh.

Oobanyaki? Yes, they have it and it’s suitable for tea time. Not all Japanese restaurant will have oobanyaki for sure.

They also sell miso paste and I guess it’s the best available miso in Indonesia. I can say that it’s really enrich my miso soup.

Yesterday afternoon I stopped at the Sunday Market while drinking coffee ☕ and cake ????. The place is spacious and there is also sitting on the lesehan complete with free wifi, maybe it's better that the Free Wi-fi is optimized????, because yesterday I was there the wi-fi speed of the Kafe Topi was very slow.
For food prices are quite affordable, for those who like to gather with friends or family must coming here????

I ordered an ice cappuccino with milk but what comes is ice coffee but it doesn't matter????

Staffs are not wearing mask while cooking and serving food. Big health protocol failure.

Tables were messy and not properly clean up.
Open kitchen concept: I assume kitchen should be tidy and clean when it is exposed to customers. Here customers could see messy kitchen with lots of unwashed dishes, many stuffs stacked below and above kitchen drawer area.
Food was ok. I orderes home made Udon, I was expecting a chewy udon and something unique. To my taste the udon was too hard and I was not sure whether it was supposed to be Cold Udon? Or Hot Udon? I just know 2 kind of Udon in Japan, whether it is Hot or Cold. This Udon was kinda Warm :). Maybe it was just me don't know this type of Udon.

Owners was too busy chatting and socializing with other Japanese ladies community.
Maybe this restaurant was meant for Japanese community, not really for common Ubudians. Or maybe just my impression.

It’s a good value for the price and the food I ordered was really delicious. I really like Natto fried rice, which is Japanese taste. There is a comfortable free-Wifi. There is a service charge of 10%. It might be hard to find this restaurant, but you can find the shop signboard along the street. Anyway, I'm totally satisfied with the food, staff, and place.

A very nice friendly Japanese owned place to dine and the Sunday market selling various selected Japanese culinary and local food products is a must to visit when you are in Ubud.

Love the home cook feel of the nato fried rice.
Every Sunday they have an incredible market, jewelry, art supplies, vegetables, fish, japanese snack

The owner is super niceeee, they socialized with the costumers and posted the photo of my friends and I when I visited there.
the food served are healthy with a not really strong taste, which is good bcs they dont use MSG, instead they use the original umami taste.
they also have sunday market which u could find some other products from different sellers displayed during sunday market. I suggest you to come early around 8.30 to 13.00 bcs rhe sunday market closed at mid day..
I had a fun time there..
