My husband and I were excited to try Indian food in Bali (we love Indian food!). This place had the best reviews, so we chose it. First thing to note — the menu says it’s a chain restaurant (didn’t know that ahead of time). My husband and I have eaten a lot of Indian food — all across the world. This place was by FAR the worst place we’ve ever eaten Indian food before. We ordered five items, and four of the five were the worst version of that dish we’ve ever tried — worst chicken korma, worst basmati rice, worst naan bread and worst samosa. Aside from the food being bad, the staff also rolled four giant and DIRTY gas tanks across the restaurant right in front of our table as we were eating. That seemed rude and gross. They charge 8% service charge and 10% tax. Our total bill was 451,000. Final say: SKIP!

While roaming around Ubud market saw this Indian restaurant next to the Ubud palace. The restaurant is pretty huge with s lot of seating area and the ambience is also good. We ordered Paneer Kadai, which was good in taste and prepared well. Phulka was made like we have it at home. They gave papad as complimentary starter too. The service is good and the staff is also friendly. The pricing is bit on a higher side with 15% extra taxes making it a bit heavy on pocket. But the quality of food is great and a must try restaurant if you are in Ubud.

Indian Restaurant at ubud Bali

Veg Indian food at ubud was gift for us.
Great taste, authentic indian food.
They serve complementary papad and it is typical north indian taste.
We had tomoto soup, bhindi masala butter garlic naan and rumali roti, all were good you can see attached snap.
Ambience is good, dhaba style seating arrangment at the corner side feels great.
Helping and well behaved staff, manager is indian but try to avoid speaking with guest god knows why.

This place is a bit overpriced, if u are a visitor, go have some local food for much cheaper price.

Also wait time for food is terrible like indian restaurants ????. I don't prefer this cost wise at all nor the service.

Although atmosphere is good and well ventilated with some decent furniture around.

One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Bali. There have 4 restaurant in Bali. We tried the food at Ubed.

The best was hara hara kabab, jeera rice, bhel Puri, butter roti with kuju masala. Wow it was awesomly take away.

If you are in ubed area, after visiting saraswati temple, water pslace, king Palace before or after heading out for shopping, have a small break here.

It is found just opposite to king Palace and next to performance theatre.

Dont even read the comments, i read them u0026 decided to have lunch here and i regretted it.
its too expensive and you have to buy curry separately. the quantity is very less and the food taste is average.
you are hungry and want to eat anything then go here else find another one.

Taste and service was good...
Hara bhara kabab was too good.
Main course also nice in taste.
I preferred these Indian restaurant again and they hai 4 branch in bali.
It's little expensive but tasty.
