We were staying at a nearby villa so one day we passed by for some take away. We ordered pork ribs, fried rice and fried noodles. Everything was good but the ribs made us come back the day after! The pork ribs are the best we have ever tried (also price wise it's the best we found in Bali).
The view is very nice and the staff is friendly and really welcoming. We had already checked out of our villa and were waiting for our rental car to be delivered, so we went there for lunch. We ordered right away 4 portions of ribs (for 2 people!), And just as the day before they were awesome!
Our car turned out to be late (almost 3 hours) and within that time, we just kept ordering ribs and juices, and although we felt like we were overstaying, the staff was very accommodating and made us feel welcome for the good 4-5 hours we stayed there ????
Thank you so much Made Becik staff. My husband keeps talking about your ribs everywhere we are in Bali, and cannot find anything comparable, which makes him want to come back there ????

Good food is sometimes found in the most unassuming locations although this restaurant was a recommendation from our villa manager.
We were told that it was a location which her clients would frequent every time they'd visit Ubud, for the pork ribs.
Delightful or epic are understatements.
Starting from the pork ribs, it was tender, juicy, balanced on spice to bbq sauce, seasoning and it was perfectly grilled.
There are beautiful char marks on the meat and it oozes flavor and love.
I was dumbfounded by how good it was that I ordered a second round for the table.
However we also sampled their Mujahir fish, which is from the freshwaters below Mt Batur, spiced, grilled and absolutely delicious. This was paired with veg Nasi Goreng, pecel (water spinach cooked with peanut sauce), plecing (green beans with garlic) and some sticks of Ayam sate (chicken satay).
The restaurant is manned by an all-women team including the chef with really good attitude and kindness.
Even my teenage kids felt that this was the best ever meal they enjoyed during our trip!
The restaurant is a short drive from Ubud city center, 10mins tops and I wouldn't recommend walking on this road as it doesn't have street lights. There is a little parking for 2 wheelers and probably one car.

Cute and calm place. They don’t have a lot of choice but the food is good ! Love the ribs ! Just a bémol* maybe add red wine on the menu. Ribs + red wine u003d perfect diner ????

I really do recommend the pork ribs!! They were so Tender and really tasty!
The service was also really friendly and the location was perfect!

This quaint little place in a village took us by surprise.
It has a very homely and warm decor. The food was just perfect. We were a group of 5 with 2 pure vegetarians who were very pleased with the food.
The duck just melts in your mouth and the pork ribs were soft and juicy.
All this with Bintang just hit the nail on the head. Definitely recommend this quiet little place for a private evening.

the vibe soooo homie, fresh and calm
in front of the warung is rice field, drinks are good and fresh also the ayam bakar are the best
