Ayung resort is the absolute best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Hidden away in Ubud, it’s a true gem. From the moment we got to reception, to the moment we left, the hospitality was just something else. Every single staff member was so lovely and caring and wanted to make sure we were smiling.

The reception staff made checkin so smooth, the staff all around the hotel grounds always greeted us and asked us how we were. The restaurant staff even remembered our names and orders by the end of our stay. The food was also super delicious. We ended up having breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner at the hotel for our entire stay!

The spa was the best spa!! The ladies doing the treatment genuinely care about how you feel and take extra care with everything. You can hear the sound of the Ayung river whilst having the treatment which makes it even more relaxing.

The infinity pool was really clean and the view from it was insane. You’re basically in the jungle and all around is just an incredible picture perfect view.

There’s not a single thing we can fault about this place….

We absolutely adored this resort. One the best resorts/hotels I have visited. It had everything.

Set in a stunning valley with beautiful views, the resort is engulfed by a gorgeous forest. The sights from our villa and the restaurant are breathtaking; you could look into the greenery for hours and still feel it wasn’t enough! The sounds of the forest, the animals, the sun, it’s just beautiful.

The villa has beautiful carved wood panelling, lots of space, great bed, large bathroom and a long balcony with a beautiful little private pool. The seclusion and privacy of the villa was exactly what we needed. The villa is really quite wonderful, we really enjoyed its beauty, space, size and it’s location in the forest with a wonderful pool. So much fun seeing monkeys run and jump around the villa as well and they are perfectly safe.

The food was very good too. Breakfast was delightful. Not a buffet but rather order table service of the highest quality food. Stunning to look at and equally tasty. The pasta was also excellent for lunch. Dinner was nice as well albeit on the pricey side.

The staff were beyond excellent. Incredibly kind, caring, courteous, pleasant and incredibly helpful. Always smiling and very respectful. Every single one of them was just such a pleasure to know and speak to. They organised trips and tours for me and were always checking up on us and making sure we had what we needed. They work very hard and I was incredibly grateful to them all.

All in all, a truly lovely resort with brilliant staff, beautiful accommodation and breathtaking views that will make you fall in love with Ubud and Ayung Resort.

Staying in this hotel was like living in paradise. The menu was delicious. The meals tasty and fresh, presented so beautifully. The staff so attentive every day always with lovely manners and their smiling faces. We will definitely return to this hotel because it is so SPECIAL!!

This resort was outstanding! Amazing artwork through out the property, lovely staff, excellent food, spa and pools, easy check in. Buggy service was always quick and easy to help us move around the resort. I look forward to coming back again. A word of warning we couldn't fit our international adapters into the wall plugs as they are indented a few cm into the walls and so we had to use a battery to charge our phones, which we used the TV usb port to charge during the day. We probably should have asked reception.

Pros:
1. Very well maintained property
2. Very helpful staff and a great location secluded from city
3.good complementary activities like rice field walk.

Cons:
1. Food is very expensive
2. Bit away from the Ubud centre which leads to less chances of getting Gojek/Grab services

Awesome experience. The food is the best I’ve had and the people are very kind and they are paying attention to your needs. The resort is like an open air museum. I definitely recommend it!

Beautiful resort, great service and views. Highly recommend for relaxing and enjoyable Balinese experience. The staff were incredibly attentive especially the ones driving the buggies, the staff at the restaurant, reception and the spa.
