Loved it here! Very pretty and extensive menu. I ordered the Jack Fruit Nachos, Moringa Soup, Chicken Satay, Blue mocktail, and blueberry cheesecake. All amazing :)

We had an absolutely fabulous birthday lunch at Akasha restaurant, the food was tasty, smoked salmon pizza, nasi campur vegan, jackfruit tacos and amazing vegan blueberry cheesecake with vegan ice cream!!! We ordered a cake for my friends birthday and champagne, was very special.. service very good, ambience and views just perfect, will be back.

This place is so beautiful and magical! Stunning views and lots of details in the garden and decoration. Food was really well prepared with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Our son is celiac and they did manage to make his diner and desert celiac safe and glutenfree however we needed to explain a lot and the staff did not really seem to know what it means ('yes its vegan' when asked about glutenfree or I am sorry it contains corn) But after a lot of explanation they understood and managed well. But because they say on the website they cater glutenfree you would think they understand.

Beautifuo architecture and delicious raw chocolate cake and bulky yummy garden salad. Perfect hangout and good music, vibe stayed til evening. And came back for a night in the bamboo dome! Super relaxing and feels like glamping.

Food and drink were good ????

Absolutely perfect ambience until the employees started shifting furnitures around in close proximity and they were setting up the DJ table and testing out the sets, all while I was having my meal. Could have informed me in advance that there will be some work going on in the area and I would have chosen somewhere else to sit in peace.

Disappointing visit. After a wonderful experience here a month ago at Akasha, which is the most beautiful bamboo hotel and restaurant, I decided to book a room for my sister’s birthday, intending to give her a memorable overnight stay and dinner, only to find the menu had completely changed, featuring burgers, pasta and pizza rather than the delicious fare on the original menu. (See original menu photos with logo) The Nasi Campur was bland and tasteless, Satay had been removed from the menu, along with many other vegan dishes. Prices had also been increased by a large percentage since my last meal here a month ago. Herbal tea was only served by small cup, no teapots available, no Bintang beer served. I could go on … but to give them their due the chef made us a special dish of satay for lunch.

We ended up taking a car to the local Tegallaleng night food market for supper. The inhouse guest breakfast menu was lacking in variety and choice vs the restaurant breakfast menu and we had to preorder breakfast the night before.

On top of that we had no water in our room for washing or showering, the shower was dirty and I had to ask reception to send someone to clean it up. The staff were charming and did their best to fix the various issues but there was no management in evidence.

I have been promised a refund on AirBu0026B so we will see if that transpires and whether I get any response from the ghost management!.

UPDATE. I received a refund from Akasha- thank you - and the explanation that the lack of water was due to the supply not being switched on again after maintenance work

Probably one of the best if not the best Asian bbq grilled chicken in town! It's melting off the bone, and sauce is rich with proper spices. And I came back for more - got the grilled salmon with lemon zest dill sauce loved it! Great taste for my keto diet too yumm. Thank you chef and good service . Word from a French palette, bravo.
