I dined here pre covid and found the experience to be good but that was then!
The other night a group of us visited and the experience was not that good.
We had pre booked but there was hardly any staff in attendance and service was very slow. The beer could have been much colder and many of the food dishes could have been hotter. Generally the food was OK. Despite an extensive drink menu some beverages were unavailable including diet cola.
This venue needs to do a lot of work to get back to their pre covid standard.

The white Orchid was a great place with a nice calm atmosphere, even though it is located at the busy road of Sanur. The food was good and we enjoyed it. The chicken satay is served of a little barbecue grill to keep the meal warm.

I'm really shocked at some of the negative reviews regarding White Orchid. This little place is supplying an up market feel and the staff are gorgeous.. we stopped in for a coffee in this delightful setting with traditional Balinese music playing, the sun gently glimpses through the trees and immediately loved it. Our coffee was great and we knew we would be back.
So here we are enjoy more great coffee, Delicious fresh smoothies and crispy Calamari salad with chili jam sauce and its amazing... I can definitely recommend White Orchid as a quaint setting off the busy streets for a meal, cocktail or dinner.

I wish we could give half stars here because I didn’t quite love my main dish (Indonesian prawn curry), but it was solid, the corn cakes were really good, and the service here is just incredible, which is why I ultimately went with a 5 star review instead of 4. If I even looked in a waiter’s direction someone was signaled to check on me. I appreciate that level of care and effort to ensure a diner’s satisfaction. Based on the corn cake and other reviews I’m willing to assume that other dishes here are really good, so I didn’t want to penalize such a hard-working staff for (me) ordering something that didn’t perfectly suit my palate. Overall, a nice place and I might have to go back eventually to settle the 4 vs 5 star debate myself.

We tried both locations in Ubud and sanur, both were fantastic! They had live music when we went and the food was amazing. Service was excellent and atmosphere matched it! Highly recommended!!

Great live music. Second only to the food. Nice portion sizes and very tasty. Staff excellent. It's recommend the crisp pork and fried ice cream!
