We’ve been on Bali for a few weeks now, and while we’ve eaten many wonderful meals of mie goreng and sate, we wanted to treat ourselves to a special meal. Kuu Izakaya delivered in every way possible. The restaurant itself is so beautifully designed, the drinks were perfectly mixed, we got the Elder Tataki. The service was stellar, the presentation was refined and the food, every last bit of it was amazing. We started our meal with edamame and the furikake fries, then some salmon nigiri, the Sakura handrolls, and then continued with a delicious California roll, unadon, the best katsudon I’ve ever had, and unbelievably tasty yakisoba. Had we not filled ourselves to the brim we would have endulged in their gorgeous desserts. Yes, we spent 800k+ but it’s worth every bit if it. Thank you to our servers and to the cooks and chef????????????????

Fresh, delicious and well presented food. Attentive and polite staff. Would not hesitate to return, highly recommend. The sake was superb.

Quite decent japanese in sanur area. Sashimi was fresh. Rolls, the amount of the filling and the rice is good. My kids like their katsu curry. Service is a bit slow, esp the sashimi orders, but they can always improve :)

Solid Japanese food, including some fun stuff like charcoal karaage chicken. Friendly service, and prices you would associate with a restaurant attached to a 5 star hotel. Staff seemed to be struggling with how busy it was and so dishes were coming out somewhat irregularly. Some of the dishes were a little short on extras (spicy chicken was just a single breast + sauce, had to order rice ????). Donburi was as expected as was sushi and Makimono.

Decide to stop by for lunch while we were driving around the area. Food was good. We ordered the dragon roll, chirashi, gyu tang, and lastly the banana desert… which was indeed something familar yet interesting.
Service was prompt and friendly.

Amazing flawless service,
Food was superb, delicious and super fresh .
The spicy cauliflower was delicious and the crispy rice with spicy tuna yummy.. basically all of the dishes were amazing :)
