The place is very nice to live in, it's a minimalist place to live when you want to live in Sanur for weeks, months, or maybe years. They have a swimming pool too, the bed is queen sized and the bathroom is actually nice, you can cook there too, also the neighbours are polite.

Very big spacious rooms with lots of light. Incredibly clean and the first place I stayed in that didn’t have bugs. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and the staff very kind. Wish I could stay longer and I would recommend Kubu Daton Homestay to anyone that asked.

this was our final accommodation before leaving indonesia, and it was one of the best. we were greated by the warmest people, allowed to check in very early, were served coffee on our arrival, breakfast before our departure, and really just treated like family. the place was lovely, with a modern room, and a nice pool (perfect after an afternoon of exploring the area). we reserved the place on AirBnB.

Cute little home stay hidden away in a quiet suburb of Sanur. Includes breakfast for the price and the owner was a pleasant and reasonable man when they're was a mix up in our booking. (Thank you for that) The complex was built only a year ago so everything is basically new. The kitchen area was really useful too if you would like to home cook.

Reviewing here b/c my AirBNB review timeframe expired after only 48 hours. Here it is:

Very nice hosts, got to know us during breakfast and cared about us. Breakfast was included which was very nice of them. Upon arrival we weren’t sure where to check-in. We saw an open hotel room on the left after the entrance, so we called “hello?” and someone came out. Ask for WiFi password upon arrival because it’s not in the room.

There was construction noise on the property right near our room, and it was audible from the entire property. Although this might have been just bad timing, it would have been fair for the host to let us know about this before booking. They stopped construction during nighttime, but after a long flight to Bali, we were tired and wanted peace - so the noise during the day was difficult for us.

We suggest the hosts add hand soap to bathroom sink area and stock more toilet paper than what was left to us, which was only a little bit.

Small ants in bed made me itchy and made it hard to fall asleep. They were on the headboard area too. I understand Bali is lush and jungly, but we never had any problems in Bali at other accommodations.

Otherwise, the place seemed clean. Two free waters were a nice touch-thank you!

Overall this was a good stay for just one night, and pool seemed nice and refreshing. Beautifully maintained middle area of the property. Nice little sitting area right outside your door to look at the pool, etc.

I wouldn’t choose this as the type of place you chill out at all day everyday for your vacation, but it’s a good base to have in Sanur for a quick stay. Most taxi drivers know the place as Kubu Daton Homestay, so travelers - don’t try to give an address instead when using taxis or Uber.

The room was everything the photos showed, it was clean, big, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was very clean and the staff was so friendly and given good service for us. It was amazing for us. Thank you Kubu Daton Homestay.????

Poor facility

I stayed here for a few days with my wife before. Although my wife decided to stay here after good reviews on it, the reality was different.

Wifi was too slow and suddenly disconnected frequently.

Water pressure not only in the shower but also in the toilet is too weak which took me a lot of time to finish shower.

Besides, one day we had to shower in the other room because no hot water came out but host did not say sorry for this which made me upset.

Furthermore, If you stay here, in the room, you can encounter all kind of insects and bugs living in bali including spiders and cockroaches.

At first, I had misunderstood that this kind of problem would be at the level of all the accommodations in bali, but not.

There was a lot of good and clean accomodations in Sanur at a similar price.
