Stayed there during the pandemic, at times were were the only guests there and as there was hardly ever any staff there my wife often took responsibility for keeping the garden clear of leaves ect and we would often assist people that were waiting to check-in due there being no staff.
We were disappointed that the owner decided to be greedy and increase the rents dramatically with very little notice, in doing so they lost all of their monthly guests because of that greed.
They put the prices up but they still don't offer the full services they advertise such as 24 hours staff, they only have staff come there for maybe 1 hour each day and sometimes they don't come at all.
There is no cable tv despite this being advertised and the wifi can also be very slow (I even assisted them with setting up a wifi extender to try and help the place and that's how we are repaid).
Despite lights not working in the bathroom and a leaking bathroom roof with mold we didn't complain much about that because we didn't want to create more expenses for them, I hope they fix it with the rates they now want to charge.
We also wasn't happy that we paid for the gas for cooking but the staff and other guests were always using our gas and never paid anything, we complained only once about this during the whole 9 months staying there and yet the manager complained to us for using a small amount of the free drinking water form cooking, I was shocked at this attitude and these were some of the reasons we no longer wanted to stay there, the price increase then made us make the choice.
The family bedroom which we stayed only had a tv in one of the rooms, we brought our own for the second room and were made to pay extra for simply having an extra tv in the other room, we agreed despite thinking this was a bit stringy seeing as we hardly ever used the tv and there were no rules set about this when we moved in.
Also be very careful of your electronics there, the electrics there are not grounded and so it's dangerous for your electronic devices, since staying there a few of my devices have started breaking and I used to get electric shocks off them, even their own device's such as the water heater and AC units have broken and I assume because of the faulty electrics there.
The good things about this place, it's nice an quiet in general, close enough to main Sanur area to walk but far enough to avoid the noise and traffic.
The rooms are fairly modern and clean looking and there is free drinking water.
We were allowed to have our pets there although in general I think the official rule is they don't allow pets.
Also the ac units are very good quality, they nice and cold.
I would say in general this will be ok for a few days stay but expect to be waiting around to check-in and have to rely.on WhatsApp for communication.
