I don't even stay and get what I deserve. Beware to stay here in this time because there's a loud banging construction behind the property. And the owner is a greedy rude, and disrespectful woman who charge extra 100k for a customer that asking to move room to avoid the noise. And the room I asked to move is not even better, or bigger, or has private pool/kitchen and its simply the same room type. She told me in the phone to call agoda and get a refund and hang up on me rather then give me my money back or not charging me extra to move to another same room type, and yet at the end, she decline to refund my money in agoda. I hope you get your karma from your nice hospitality.

Well, not the best but worth your money.
The place is located only 1kms away from the beach.

It has parking space for scooters and only one space for cars.
They actually ask for deposit money of 200.000 IDR, since I didn’t know and they didn’t mention at all, I had to go to the nearest ATM which is located around 2,5kms away. Eventually they gave it back fast without hassle after checking out.

My main concern is that when I stayed, the place has tons of caterpillars in the pool area. Even I can see three inside the pool. Even if they are harmless, I felt uneasy every-time I want to hang around the pool.

Apart from that, this place offers a nice and spacious room. It also has strong-pressured shower so pretty satisfying showering here.

Looking for peaceful place to stay in Sanur? You came to the wrong place.

Upon arriving we immediately heard drilling and pounding. Not what you want to hear when you are checking in. The next door building was demolished and the boy in the office said the construction goes on till 5pm .

While of courae its not the hotels fault we asked to stay in another room away from that side of the construction which we were told was available. Then the staff member told us we can move if we pay an extra 100k because the other room was garden view which in reality was just another average room . Even though on agoda they are the same price.

Then we get on the phone with the owner and Ive never dealt with such an arrogant disrespectful hotel owner in all of Bali. She could care less and suggest moving us to a room below our original room even closer to the noise. She wouldn't budge on the 100k, which at that point its not about the money its the fact you are in hospitality business and treating your customer terribly.

Then she says "If you want a refund contact Agoda and hung up". We did and they said she wouldn't refund.

Then to top it off as we were leaving I was having a look at a plastic sign leaning against the wall in parking, one of the congratulatory signs business have when opening. Just to see if the shameful owners name was on it when the little boy in the office comes out agressive and cursing as If I am trying to steal a 1x2 meter flimsy sign lol.

So if you are looking for the typical Balinese hospitality you wont find it here, only the usual Balinese incompetence and greed. Dont stay here.

Edit: lol owner says fake review, cant take criticism for their terrible behavior.

Location is great, walking Distance to the beach. Room is nice and comfy. Prefer to stay at ground floor room

The worst hotel experience my whole life. Better stay somewhere quiet cause they have loud banging construction behind. They know it but they dont tell you until you check in. Lol.

We had a great stay at Abyan Guest House. The property is kept very clean and in great condition. All of the staff were super friendly. It was GREAT value. I highly recommend it. We will be back again soon.

Stayed here for 3 weeks!
SUPER clean! and friendly staff. great location only 5 minute ride to the beach! they also offer laundry services which was convenient!
will for sure stay again when back in Sanur
