Small kiosk tucked away in the ground floor food court of Sarinah Mall within walking distance from the hotels on Jalan Wahid Hasyim. A welcome discovery in amongst all the other meaty stalls!

The menu consists of a handful of set menus (all sets include a bottle of mineral water), as well as the option to build-your-own set by choosing 5 items. Mainly Indian food, although Mee Goreng is also on the menu. Food was tasty and affordable with very generous portions (too big for me to finish). Closed on Sundays.

Ultimate Food Quality.
Desai Meal, Phulka Meal and Bhima Meal, must try if you are Indian. Rates are very reasonable - everything around IDR 50000 and value for Money.
Food preparation is good and can be tried everyday.

I'm not vegetarian but I love food at Vesne. I tried their Pulka Set and my friend try their Dosa Set. We both love it, the set come with 350ml mineral water with only 54.500 IDR each set. Taste really delicious the pulka was plain but when you eat it with the eggplant paste and sambar (sambal) or dipped it on lentil soup.its taste great specially if you love Indian food. While the Dosai is seasoned so you can even eat it on its own, the soup were sour and savoury. The Polkara also great. Definitely will try their other dishes next time.

Simply tasty and filling!
If you look for happy real vegan food, you should go here. They serve Indian foods, but it's all vegan which is surprising.
They have almond milk as well, but it's sweet (maybe because it's marketed for Indonesians?).
Overall it's awesome. If I'm around Sarinah, I'll go this place again.
And you should too!

Loved this food! Apart from being vegetarian, it is very unusual to us and really delicious. A bit spicy though. We recommend it????

Straightforward vegetarian Indian food counter serving vegetarian food. Located in a busy food court in central Jakarta. Complete meals averaging 50k which includes mineral water.
