Fine dining style restaurant with old style Jakarta in the Dutch era. Interesting interior, really recommended to try. They have many private rooms to book with minimum charges applied. Food were satisfactory, good taste. That's why it's a five star, because it is really a five star fine dining restaurant. That said, includes the price too... Extremely expensive!

A good place with a good coffee too. The service and staffs are friendly. Even though they only have smoking area for having a coffee time, this place is still cozy. Probably will come back here.

I am sorry but we were here to eat, and the food was below my expectations. Veggies were overcooked. Baked fish was so unlikely pleasing my our taste buds. Mendoan was like regular tempe battered with flour, also garnished with basil???
The place is cool and service is 100% excellent. But when it comes to food, I don't recommend the place.

Had one time when it was Buddha bar..
Now it's a great museums themed resto with a touch of colonial history.
Entrance is very easy and smooth, didn't have to make reservation and on arrival, the resepsionist took us directly to our table for a quick lunch.
The menu is great, Indonesia cuisine, and mostly Dutch influenced dishes such as butterballen, apple strudel etc..
Drinks are likewise..
All international standard of operation, I like it.
A wall size paintings of historical story are decorating the room and also book sitting in the shelves become our another subject of conversation.
ambience is romantic yet elegant, deem with few spotting Lights are keeping us company.
All deserves CHSE.

Ordered roasted chicken, duck for main course and selendang mayang for the dessert. All food were delicious and the portion were Okay. The ambience in the 1st floor was mesmerizing. But the 2nd floor was a little bit magic
