Had a horrible experience. Dot at 11am (checkout time). the staff came and forced me out. they were just waiting infront of my bed so that I leave then and there. I had kept my bag in the lobby and left. then later they even told me I cannot keep my bag and that I have to pay for an extra night and forced me out. My flight was at night but I had to leave and wait outside the airport for 9 hours instead. This is not how a hostel is run. In my years of travel I have never experienced something as aggressive as this in any city or country. The staff aren’t trained and they don’t even have a proper POS. They just exist to guard the gates. Rest I had to figure out myself.

Clean bathrooms, toilets, and rooms.
Also helpful staffs.
They have lockers settled in front of the bunkbed.
The building is four stories tall, the second floor called 1st though. The ground floor is for Receptionist, small kitchen, few sitting areas. The 1st floor: bunkbeds (with electrical socket and lamps), lockers, two shower rooms and two toilets. The 2nd floor: same showers and toilets, but I think the room set differently (maybe for private rooms). The 3rd floor: communal area with sofas, bean bags, books, and tv. Each floor has two and maybe more ACs.
But unfortunately the road to the hotel is bumpy and much puddles.

STAY INN JAKARTA 4/5

Pro: It’s a relatively new hostel, with new pods. The local supermarket and local street food is a two minute walk. The owner was kind enough to show me the local amenities as soon as I checked in. The lockers are of a good size and the washroom facilities are decent. The sleeping pods are excellently designed and I had a comfortable few nights sleep.

Cons: due to the fact that it’s a new hostel, the atmosphere of the hostel is still in its early stages. The rooftop at the top is relatively basic, and there are no activities running from what I gather. However, the owner is great and I’m sure the hostel will develop into a vibrant establishment in no time!

This hotel inside of street and the street is in front of shelter busway Harmoni. The hotel it self so clean and neat (but youth), receptionist is friendly and nice. It so comfortable for me while I'm stay my self. There is 14 capsule in my room. Quite place. Towel, bed sheet and room and inside of capsule have a good smell. I like this place. And I think this place is match for backpackers.

It is one of my favourite hostel in Jakarta. It is located in an ideal area for travellers. The hostel is near many public transport facilities, for instance, the bus and train station. Discussing food, no worry, you could find a bunch of food stalls and restaurants surrounding this area.

For a relatively new capsule hotel, I thought the price is still affordable. For that price, the provide some additional services like free hot and tea, a clean towel, a homy lounge on the 3rd floor with a lot of books and magazines, and even a small home theatre and PlayStation.

To talk about the room, it is clean and has air conditioners and free internet access through wifi. Whenever you need some assistance, it has two friendly staffs that would help you.

However, from my perspective, I thought it would be great if this place also provides a prayer room/mushola.

Nearly perfect. The only downsides are the bunks' material was quite noisy if you move inside your bed, also the air outlet didn't work. But the comfiness, room temperature, service, bathroom, ambience, and free coffee / tea are perfect ????????
