Very interesting museum, not only the history about FKUI (medical university), but also full of knowledge about healthy and medicine.

The specimens in this museum are mostly the anatomical collection of UI Medical Faculty, ranging from normal to pathological structures. Most of the phantom are quite interractive. Some of the cadaver parts has been on display since the collonial era, thus it have an outdated preservation method and you can observe how the degradation differs from newer specimens, albeit still intact. Visitors can also use the cutting-edge technology of 3D Human Visualization table to study anatomy virtually.

Sadly, the medical collection area is NOT open for public. You'll need to arrage a group visit with the curator or be a medical student at University of Indonesia to enter the place. This is due to the preservation and respect for the cadavers. Otherwise, you can do a public visit and enter the history of Indonesia medicine in the public area, which in it self is quite informative for visitors of all ages.
