This building is not open to the public. Yes it may have a museum, within the grounds, but it's a government building! I'm here now!

Pancasila building is inside Ministry of foreign affairs building. This place actually museum.

One of the beautiful, well-preserved historical building in Jakarta.

Gedung Pancasila, as the name suggested, is the very place where Pancasila, the Indonesian State philosophy consisting of 5 principles, was born and inaugurated by our first President, Soekarno.

This historical building is listed as one of the national ‘cagar budaya’ or cultural heritage and well-maintained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.

It is still actively used for formal occasions and sometimes opened for public on special event, like during the annual press statement of the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the beginning of the year.

Inside is beautiful and has lovely settings for meetings and/or dining. I love President Soekarno’s painting inside.

Historical place, need heavy restoration, as a structural analyst, many beam had a crack and not safety for any situation. Bath for long time the owner of the building have no attention for the danger inside.
