First of all, the service was rather slow (and it wasn’t even crowded when I was there). The waiter did not seem to be very friendly and helpful. I liked the beef hor fun though, it was flavorful and the beef was well seasoned and tender. But the sweet and sour chicken? Although the crunch was nice, the portion was small and even the cuts weren’t big, also the taste was just meh, totally not worth the price ????

Visited Fook Yew for dinner, and this place is pretty crowded, I ordered:
- Es Durian Delight (Durian Delight Ice): this sweet delight is basically vanilla milk shaved ice, topped with durian paste, nata de coco (coconut jelly) and sweet basil seeds. I can't said much beside I loves it ????.
- Guo Tie Panggang Keju (Grilled Cheese Guo Tie): this dish is pretty unique, fusion between Chinese dim sum and grilled cheese ????+????.
- Ayam Panggang Istimewa (Roasted Chicken): in my opinion, there's nothing special with this dish, just regular roasted chicken, and the chicken is kinda dry, there's also nothing special with the sauce and the presentation of the dish, so there's nothing much that I can descibe about this dish for you guys ????.
- Iga Sapi dengan Saus Lada Hitam (Black Pepper Beef Ribs): this dish is pretty strong in seasoning yet match my palate, the ribs is pretty tender but sadly not easily come off the bones, i'm kinda like my food to be easily munched ????. Overall, this dish is qualified to be recommended to try.
- Ikan Goreng ala Shaghai Saus Asap (Old Shanghai Fish with Smoked Sauce): this dish is totally delicious and I totally recommend this one for you guys to try. This dish is basically deep fried flour coated fish fillet seasoned with smoked sauce. The smoked sauce is pretty similar with barbecue sauce and work very well with the fish.
For my dinner at Fook Yew, I gonna rate them 4 out of 5.

Place and environment 4.5 of 5 (good vibes and design)
Comparison between quantity of the food and the price 3.5 of 5 (a bit too pricey for that amount of food)
Taste 3 of 5 (this might be various as we only tried 2 dishes among all they had)
The kwe tiau was actually good. The noodles? Nah lack of flavour although the texture of the noodle was really good.
Will we come again? Maybe.

Good Chinese food restaurants with middle range price. The taste is good and portion also can be shared.
Have many options for chinese food.
Located near fountain in level 3A so you can also enjoy fountain show when it's play.
Decoration is with bright colour so easy to look from far.

Decoration for this place is the first thing people notice, the concept really good and make you go back in time for especially the ambience oriental really capture the moment.
But the food, definitely i had better than here, the price quite normal with so so taste. Recommended for anyone who needs to feel the nostalgic feeling

good restaurant (tryin to be) chinese fusion modern restaurant, part of ismaya group. the menu is unique and commendable, a rarity in the chinese restaurant clime in jakarta. price tend a tad to be on high side like other ismaya brands, but the taste is okay

Love the food. It reaaaly is good! I love the chicken go hyong very much. Unfortunately it's a lil bit pricey, but there's always a promotion here! Usually it's a free dessert for image post in social media, or by showing your G Card membership
