Visited Fook Yew for dinner, and this place is pretty crowded, I ordered:
- Es Durian Delight (Durian Delight Ice): this sweet delight is basically vanilla milk shaved ice, topped with durian paste, nata de coco (coconut jelly) and sweet basil seeds. I can't said much beside I loves it ????.
- Guo Tie Panggang Keju (Grilled Cheese Guo Tie): this dish is pretty unique, fusion between Chinese dim sum and grilled cheese ????+????.
- Ayam Panggang Istimewa (Roasted Chicken): in my opinion, there's nothing special with this dish, just regular roasted chicken, and the chicken is kinda dry, there's also nothing special with the sauce and the presentation of the dish, so there's nothing much that I can descibe about this dish for you guys ????.
- Iga Sapi dengan Saus Lada Hitam (Black Pepper Beef Ribs): this dish is pretty strong in seasoning yet match my palate, the ribs is pretty tender but sadly not easily come off the bones, i'm kinda like my food to be easily munched ????. Overall, this dish is qualified to be recommended to try.
- Ikan Goreng ala Shaghai Saus Asap (Old Shanghai Fish with Smoked Sauce): this dish is totally delicious and I totally recommend this one for you guys to try. This dish is basically deep fried flour coated fish fillet seasoned with smoked sauce. The smoked sauce is pretty similar with barbecue sauce and work very well with the fish.
For my dinner at Fook Yew, I gonna rate them 4 out of 5.
