If you look for authentic family fine dining, this place could be a good option. The food is quite pricy but tasty. The service is also great. But what I wanna highlight is the ambience of the restaurant. It's quite gloomy, there are so many unique and old stuffs like statues, old photos, etc. Feels like you're eating in your grandma house with 30s-40s vibes.

This restaurant has a classic and vintage ambiance, a bit spooky actually. A lot of antique photos, statues and ornaments.

Food-mostly Infonesian and Dutch cuisines - and service are excellent.

Beware that the actual prices are higher than those stated on the menu. Although the prices are still reasonable,

A hidden gem in the city... I got Nasi Goreng. Prepare to splurge a bit because it is a fine dining place.

This place is not a regular restaurant! The inside interior is so unique and. Some tables are quite private, so it feels pretty romantic. The food is very tasty and is a unique mix of Indonesia, China, and Dutch. The staff are super friendly as well have got a great initiative.

Good food and great ambiance. Though when we visited the restaurant was pratically empty and it was in late evening, so it feels quite scary. The main dining room (the one normally reserved for big group) is super spooky when the restaurant is not crowded.

Very extraordinary place, lots of antiques in this restaurant, very good taste of food serve with special dining plate. They also offer many of beverage options.
It's good place to have a meeting with friends, collages and clients.
You'll get the different feeling when you enter the restaurant.

Located just off Jakarta’s central Merdeka Square on Jl. Veteran 1. Beautifully decorated by Antique and Unique Chinese - Javanese decore from their table settings, statues, rooms, to overall decor. This is a place for you to eat Peranakan Menu with Traditional Indonesian Concept. Truly amazed by their restaurant. Was welcomed with warmest smile and greetings from the waiters, felt just like at home.

Tried some of their Menu, and here are my favorites !
1. Nasik Kare Kepiting (must try)
2. Daging Goeloeng Boengkoes Oedang (must try)
3. Tim Ikan Gurame Jamur Tungku
4. Nasik Goreng Kepiting
5. Nasik Tjampoer Babah
6. Gegrilde Ribben Van Citadel Weg
7. Ribben Soepen Karebosi

Overall, pretty tasty with perfect combination of spices and well seasoned. Truly pleased by how they managed to bring classic Peranakan Cuisine in modern interpretetion. Would definitely come back and try other menus !
