Was a nightmare from start to finish, we planned to spend 2 nights and our bud got in late which I informed them about with plenty of time. When I arrived there was no one to check us in, we waited for 25 minutes and nothing. I then called the number on the leaflet who presumably was the manager and she was not concerned about helping me check in, just that I had a booking in the first place (which of course I did) she then requested that I knock on door 8 to wake her colleague up so he can check us in. I reluctantly did so only for us to get in the room and it be filthy, the shower didn’t work, there was no sink in the bathroom, no bin and when I asked for toilet paper, I was laughed at.
In the 60+ places we’ve stayed so far this year this is by far the worst experience we’ve had so far.
Needless to say we checked out after 1 night there.
When pressed for a refund, the guy spent the whole time sharpening a gardening tool and spontaneously cutting things to show how sharp it was, after much deliberation however we got refunded for 1 night and were taxed on it.
