Cheap, 30k for a dormitory bed. During weekdays the dormitory should not get crowded, but it may get full during weekends. 30k includes a breakfast with bread and tee/coffee. I got several punctures and the impression bed sheets were not replaced. The dormitory has just two electricity plugs in very bad locations (2 mt from the ground). If the dormitory is full choose a bed on the second level. The room has aircon. The hostel has a very good cheap restaurant. Mosque plays every morning at 4am till 6am.

Really not bad, especially for the price offered. A good choice for any backpackers who visited this town. There is also a dormitory for groups, be aware the entrance alley from the main road is only enough for one car.

This place is a great bargain on price, and the host Nino is absolutely lovely and beyond helpful with organizing sites to see in the area. He even took us personally on a motor bike tour. However the rooms themselves are rather bleak, the bathroom had leaking pipes and always smelled like fresh urine. The rooms are rather dark, and the upstairs floor gets super hot during the day. If you're passing through just to climb Ijen, this is a great launching pad. But would not want to be here longer than necessary.

Very convenient stay and courteous staff. The hostel is clean with all basic facilities. It is close to city centre. The food is good but the waiting time is a lot. Prepare to order 15-20 mins in advance.

I would live 6 stars if possible. Sadly we stayed here only for one night because of tight schedule but definitly will come back in the future.

We had the best welcoming in Indonesia and we have been here a month now. Nino is the best host in Indonesia for sure, and the food, he is amazing cook and he uses ingredients from his own garden. He will help you to rent scooter and if you have some guestions or need help, he is the man to ask.

Rooms are very confy and basic with ac, very confy bed. You can refill your water and eat in the hostel restaurant where the food is amazing and prices are really good.

Definitly discover the city with George who is the best guide in the city and will show you the local life in this amazing city.

We had an amazing experience here, thank you guys!

Can’t express how wonderful my experience here was! Nino the owner is the most helpful and generous hostel owner, he was willing to cook for us any time of day and even showed us around Banyuwangi on motorbikes. Would give an extra star if I could. The hostel itself is big and could do with some decorations but the free breakfast and large beds make up for it.

Best stay we had in Indonesia!! Rooms are basics but nino and his friends are awesome
We had delicious food which came from his own farm, was really cheap and delicious
We've been in ijen and had the best scooter we had during our journey
His friend brought us to festivals, village and others great things so we saw and met local people
If I could put 6stars I will!
