Our favourite place in Banyuwangi, definitely a must stay if you are visiting this area, the design is stunning and the owner Tommy is just the best always ready to help you or have a friendly chat! The rooms are so spacious and there is an amazing outdoor kitchen that you can use too. We stayed here twice and we will again if we happen to be back in the area! Just perfect!

The room was great and smells good too. If you like quiet area, this place is for you. But the road was quite small, and sometimes grab driver get lost when pick up ????
Bathroom was unique, semi outdoor.
Also they had kitchen if you want some hot water or store your food in the fridge.
Comfy bed, had a good night sleep during the stay.

If you're looking for a little piece of sanctuary nested in a quiet neighbourhood during your stay in Banyuwangi, Adara Homestay is the place. Adopting the Javanese bohemian concept, the room is exceptionally cozy and clean, with aesthetic outdoor bathroom, definitely good value for money. Tommy, the owner, is a fellow hiker who is very resourceful and hospitable. Oh and the linen smells amazing btw! Perfect place to get ready before and unwind after the hike. Not only comfortable and a pleasure for the eyes, Tommy's place is a real eco friendly and relaxing place. The accomodation is same as the picture and due to the quality of the equipment and services, staying there, was a true pleasure for us. Nice breakfast, high quality linen, original design of the building, ambience lightning and garden. Of course, I will not forget the great bathroom opened on the sky. Our goal coming there was to discover kawah Ijen volcano. Tommy helped us to plan our visit with efficiency. We even got a motorbike for a reasonable price. I can say that our host really cared us. Stay there without any hesitation, you will not regret your choice.

You can't get a better host than tommy. He gave us good tips, brought our clothes to the laundry and picked us up at the train station. He also picked us up at a restaurant as no grab driver have been around and we had no other option to get to the homestay. Room was really spacious and clean - something that is not self-evident in Java. Tommy also got us a tour to Ijen although the normal way was blocked. We would definetely stay at tommys homestay again!

Highly recommended if you want to visit Banyuwangi or just for transit to Bali.

What a beautiful house! The place is well designed. When we arrive to Tommy's place our mouths were wide open. The whole place is miracleous, the room was huge and super clean. The bed was so big and comfortable, and the bathroom.. breathtaking. Tommy and Kanung is the nicest guy we met since we are in Indonesia. We book to stay because of the mount Ijen Trek, and we were in late so Tommy organised us everything. All together we would really recommend this place, it really worth! :)
