Not as advertised -

Pros: - The rooms at The Patra are clean, tidy and spacious and in general the grounds are well kept. - The price of the resort is reasonable. - A number of pools in the resort, the main pool is huge!

Cons: - The Patra is not as advertised. - The pool bar is currently closed - Pool toilets are dirty (mould on floor, no lights, slip hazard) and are an accident waiting to happen. - The Italian Restaurant and Japanese Restaurant are closed. - Highly understaffed and service is often hard to obtain. - Food from Hotel below par. - Location isn't ideal.

Whilst we understood that our stay was on the back of the COVID pandemic, Hotels nearby seemed much more functional. After 4 days at The Patra we decided to approach management about the issues and were laughed at and told 'we will take on board' (criticism). I will be making further contact with our booking agency regarding a refund.

We re-located to a resort nearer central Kuta for the rest of our trip where we were able to enjoy a fully functional Hotel and all round service.

This hotel is truly special: a marvel that has been very well cared for in every detail. The pools are at a perfect temperature, large and cozy rooms, and all the staff, including management, go out of their way to welcome you with kindness. I had a wonderful time. The ocean view is the icing on the cake.

Overall the room is great! Large and comfortable. the staffs is also friendly and nice. It has two pools, large and medium size. The room is clean but still could be improved. We really enjoyed staying there.

Like the pool and the location. 15 min walk to kuta center and close to the airport. Beautiful sunset. We love the hotel, they get 4 and not 5 starts due to long food delivery time in the restaurant yesterday and the ice tea was not great.

So satisfied
Roo was old but very well maintained and spacious.
But the food was not good for me.
Nice location, can walk to the airport.
Huge swimming pool.
Pleasant experience.

Beyond my expectations. Only here for a short staycation but wished it was longer. Good location - near airport, private beach, peaceful surroundings - combined with awesome facilities (clean rooms, great pool), and very friendly staff. Recommended for families.

There were 2 big cockroaches in my room. The food was horrible.
There were no vegan or vegetarian options. The staff and chefs don’t know what is vegan or vegetarian. They put fried eggs and cheese on top of foods even when I asked many times. The staff is kind overall but the middle aged lady in the reception was not kind. She was rolling her eyes when I told her about the cockroaches.
