Respect! This team is pushing the boundaries on what vegan food can be. The textures and flavours of the dishes are outside of the ordinary and are delicious. They are elevating plant-based dishes to Michelin star quality and delivery. But in a cool and contemporary Balinese way. Everyone, including diehard meat eater will love the food here. And the service was great - not stuffy - professional and friendly but not to friendly- just right.

We're vegan and visited Tanaman first in 2020, when it was an Indonesian menu and it just blew our minds. So much so that we decided to come back. The menu is now totally different, with a new, lovely chef. It's hard to classify the menu inspiration, it is trying many different things. Of about 9 dishes, 1 we found to be superb (cracker) , most of the rest average, and a couple below average (micro greens, watermelon) . It was a roller coaster which unfortunately ended up not meeting our expectation, but the chef is young and inspired, and there's talent there no doubt, with ample room for improvement.
Staff was wonderful and knowledgeable, and the ambience is fantastic.

It was a pleasurable ambiance to sit and relax. Like some other meditative moments, this would give you that strong vibe. They've served good vegan foods and such too.

Fabulous vegan dining journey and a once in a lifetime experience. Great service unique and ultra modern setting inside the swank potatohead complex. Head chef was delightful and full of enthusiasm. Highly recommended culinary experience????????

Must try restaurant, especially if you stay in their village. The food is very delicous and served in a unique way. The palce is very cozy.

Being plant based for 6+ years and a lover of fine dining this was an experience like no other. Dom and the team have thought of everything. It is a full sensory experience. From the lighting to the sound (we managed to book when there was an experimental musician curating the sound for the evening) to the lighting to the amazing aromas emanating from the carefully prepared food. The pumpkin course and yuba course are to die for. Dom shows off their culinary skill by being out there with the flavor combinations, hitting that sweet between innovative and nostalgic. Reni our sever was the best! She was so attentive, knowledgeable and hilarious. We love her. Can't thank the team enough for such a great experience. Will be back again ASAP.
