We went for this hotel because there was a deal. Although it's placed at a prime location this hotel sucks. The place could use some refreshing on the towels and bathroom amenities.
The room smelled when we first entered it. Many things in this hotel room are stained. The bedsheets are stained. The toilet seat is very old, the coating is already peeled off and stained. The tiles are stained. The faucets are either hard to use or falling apart. The bidet may run longer than it's supposed to or stuck at spraying.
They nickel and dime you for everything. No electric kettle and fridge. You gotta rent an electric kettle if you want to drink hot water. And if you want a chilled drink you're welcome to pay for ice cubes.
I think they didn't care for their rooms during the pandemic and the rooms are being sold as is without being thoroughly cleaned as soon as Bali opened up again for tourists.
The soundproofing is lacking too. You hear everything that's happening outside your door and your neighbor.
It's a "garden view" room. The view outside the window is of overgrown bushes and weeds. The worst thing is probably the moss grown window. Very green and lush as you can see in the photos.
You get what you paid for, maybe even less...
Unkempt is the keyword.
