We have eaten here twice now on our five day stay in Bali and this modest restaurant is a hidden gem and unlike any other restaurant in the area. In an area that seems to be more and more vegetarian and vegan it’s good to find a restaurant that makes no apology for serving great Australian Steaks and roast meats that are cooked freshly and to perfection every time.

The first time we had the roast beef dinner and steak and they were delicious and cooked so well our plates were completely cleared of all the succulent meat and al dente veggies and served with a flavoursome gravy and Yorkshire pudding.

Today we had the peppered steak pies and absolutely loved them. Once more success on a plate.

The service was impeccable and the owner, Loretta is a little dynamo and made our evening.

The restaurant is small with outside seating for 8 people and inside for 6 more and it also offers a takeaway and delivery service. The premises is spotlessly clean and the toilet has to be the cleanest in Canguu. Don’t miss out on a visit. We loved it!

Disclaimer I am friends with the owner Loretta. However friendship bias aside this is genuinely one of the best roasts I’ve ever had! You can really feel the love and care she puts into the food. She makes every roast fresh - and as a result the meat was super juicy and tender with that perfect meat yumminess. Imported as you can’t get this sort of meat in bali she informs me. I don’t eat meat often but when I do this is how it should taste and be treated! What also stood out was the homemade mint sauce and cranberry juice (which is spiced with cinnamon) and obviously all the other timings - like yummy vegetables / gravy (that she’s particularly proud of, roasts and Yorkshire’s.

if you go say hi to Indonesian born / lived in London Loretta who will be behind the counter - when I asked her if she ever left the restaurant with her trainer chefs she shook her head and said like a true perfectionist ... “they just can’t get the same level of tenderness” ...

An oasis of meat in a sea of vegetarianism (though they also do vegetarian meals).

Home cooked roast chicken (very reasonably priced) with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, veg, gravy, horse radish sauce and superb gravy.

This small hole in the wall eatery is perfect for people missing the UK (and there is a picture of the queen u0026 a row of teapots) or looking for some authentic home cooked Sunday roast.

Absolutely delicious! So much love is put into the food. Roast dinners done proper. Lovely Loretta’s service tips it off. If you’re in Canggu get yourself down there!

Great roast with real taste. Everything is so fresh. Today I order Quarter Chicken(IDR 70K) and Roasted Lamb( IDR 130K) . Include salad, condiments, and potatoes. Located in front of cafe cinta

Another hidden gem in Brawa area, a small resto served the best english roast with the brightest smile from the owner. If anyone around, please check this lil gem. Oh, they dont hv a parking lot so best to find a parking and walk to this resto

Love it here.

A great alternative to all the avocado and smoothy places in Canggu.

A proper roast dinner and steak great quality and made well with real quality ingredients.

Slammin Yorkshire puddings too.

Loretta is a great host too really makes you feel welcome you can even take your own wine and pay no corkage.

Red hundreds the best roast dinner in Indo.
