Amazing hostel. Great staff, kindly and happy. The swimming pool is perfect and the place cozy and quiet. Also is near of the beach so you can go walking. They also offer to rent a bike or motorbike. Wifi works perfectly! High speed. You can use the kitchen and buy some drinks in the place! Highly recommend!

Nice little place to stay for one or a few nights. For sure you will find some "good vibes" there. We met a couple, he is italian and she is Brazilian. As far as I understood they are managing the hostel, living together in Bali. Anyway they are nice poeple, the atmosphere was nice...don't hesitate to book ;)

Two stars because the two Balinese guys working there were nice and the one volunteer was also welcoming. I think this place could be great honestly, as the location and pool are nice, but please take caution and think wisely before booking in near future as there is a bed bug problem. While some people have been staying there for a while it seems and they have great reviews, it seems there is a few beds that have a bed bug infestation. And of course I landed in one of those beds. I saw them late in the evening on my first night there as I was moving the curtain around and they just started crawling everywhere on my bed and the persons bed next to mine. It was late and there were no empty beds so I went to sleep hoping it wouldn't be too bad. Woke up covered in bites, when I asked to switch beds the next day until I could find somewhere else they knew exactly what I was talking about and in a hurry moved me and my stuff before I could say anymore in front of the other guests. Of course that night I woke up with two on me in the other dorm and possibly have them in my stuff now and will have to take care of that on my own. Didn't think about leaving a review until I saw them put another girl in the first bed hours after I told them about the bed bugs. Again nice guys really, but I think the owner needs to take this seriously as I see now they have had reviews of bed bugs in the past.

I love this place so much! It feels like home and the staff is so nice and always happy to help you with wathever. I made a lot of new good friends including Holly she is just amazing. (Also her breakfast haha)The location is great! there’s a lot of nice restaurants on walking distance. We always walked to old mans/sandbar it’s not far to the beach.
Also the pool is reallyyyy nice!! Only good vibes at this hostel. (Fast WiFi!)

4 stars for the property, 5 stars for the hospitality. I arrived really late at night and the receptionist was still more than happy to help. Good vibes and people there are really helpful. The experience was far beyond that I'd hope for such cheap price. I'd definitely recommend it and if ever I come back to Bali, I'd love to revisit :)

It's a good social hostel with lots of space to hang out and meet new people. The rooms are with aircon and have lockers. The mattresses are a bit layed in but besides that everything is fine, especially for the cheap price. The wifi is very fast aswell!

If you wish to mingle with loads of backpackers and befriend them,
Come to Point Break Hostel
If you wish to be soak up the positive energy along with lovely morning breeze and swell time at the hammock in the garden,
Come to Point Break
AND, if you wish to have your money stolen and be ill-treated by the manager,
Come to Point Break.
This hostel has the makings of a great hostel, the many facilities include projection wall for your favourite movies, bean bags at the balcony overlooking green rice fields, free coffee, comfortable beds, nice garden and awesome vibe. However one major flaw is that there is no safety and security of your valuables.
The paid locker provided by the staff opened by not just the key provided but multiple keys, and to top it all off, when I requested the management to refund the stolen amount of IDR 450,000, they not only refused, they also told me that they trust their staff. After constant requests, one of the staff members told me he will see if he can get me some discount for the remaining stay I intended at the hostel, and to my utter dismay, the hostel owner, an Italian, who was told about the incident chose to completely ignore to address the issue and just said - "Good Morning Suhani"
This place is a disaster. They charge you IDR 50,000 for lockers that provide no safety. They take no responsibility for the money stolen. And finally, they completely ignore to address the issue.
My recommendation to you guys is to skip this place for accommodation. This place is an absolute nightmare, especially since anyone coming here would be on a budget and IDR 450.000 stolen would be a major dent on anyone's budget while backpacking Bali.
The only good person in the staff who showed a bit of compassion was Alexa, who will guarantee you help and assistance with a broad smile of her face.
