The most beautiful hotel I have ever been. Very polite and kind staff and a lot of facilities. Don’t miss the SPA swimming pool. It’s incredible.
The hotel is clean. Breakfast is marvelous with the exotic birds around. Like a fairy tale.
However 6 days without hot water. This destroyed everything.
Assistant manager is useless. We came three times to complain. First time she said that we are doing something wrong. Like rotate the screw can be difficult. Second time she said they sent engineer to our room and they didn’t find a problem. And finally she convinced that they have a problem at that part of building and for hot water need to wait 15-20 minutes after turn on the tap.
So we woke up 20 minutes earlier every day to take a shower. And still water was slightly warm. Any solution? Another room maybe? Fixing the problem? No of course not. They didn’t even try to make our stay comfortable.
I don’t recommend this hotel for staying but definitely recommend to come for breakfast.

The cleanest and most friendly hotel I have been to! Beach is well maintained and the amenities are great. Buffet was clean and full of lots of options for many dietary choices/restrictions. Fruit, bread, omelettes, etc. with a good mixture of Indonesian, Chinese, and Western style food. Beautiful live music and performances. The resort is far enough away from the rest of the island for some privacy without being so far as having to take a journey to get here. Side note, I was here to celebrate New Years, and even though the hotel is not in charge of guests, everyone, including the other guests were extremely friendly.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Nusa Dua Beach hotel and spa. Location was excellent, with both pools and a beach to choose from. The beach was groomed every day and the pools were spotless, it really is what you see in the brochures. The rooms were very good, maybe in need of a lick of paint, but nothing that would ruin your holiday.
There are also a number of on site dining options, be it by the beach, on the beach or in the main dining area. Western food as well as traditional Indonesian dishes are available.
You have use of the on site spa, which has a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Treatments are available at a price if you wish to enjoy a Balinese massage or body treatment.
The hotel is also used for weddings, with the service being held on the beach and a purpose made outdoor covered area for dancing or the band to play under.
Overall we were very impressed by the hotel, it offered everything we wanted so couldn't have asked for more. Bali is a very pretty island and the people are exceptionally friendly and honest.

The hotel is decorated in traditional Balinese style, has a large expanse of beach, good size swimming pools, 3 restaurants with varied food choices and an extensive garden area.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Palace Club area with extras and enjoyed the quieter breakfast venue and afternoon cocktails with snacks.
Recommend for couples and families (there is a child minding service too).
Neighbours many other resorts within walking distance but away from other Tourist areas.

It's taken me a while to write a review of this hotel, I wanted it all to settle in before putting pen to paper.
The hotel is quieter than a lot in Nusa Dua, which isn't a bad thing, the gardens and pool area are well kept and clean. Rooms are a bit dated now.
If you upgrade to the Palace Club rooms, then the service and lounge are second to none in a holiday hotel. We also had the pleasure of visiting the private villa on site and using the swimming pool, truly exceptional.
The one big downside for me and the family though, is that since becoming part of the Sultan of Bruni's stable of hotels, it has implemented Muslim rules on it's guests, this wouldn't be too bad if they were upfront in their promotional material so you can see before you book.
Not having Pork and Bacon on the menu may not seem like a big issue, but if you are western, staying in a western resort, it is. I didn't find this out until i looked on trip advisor after booking. To have it explained that it is not right for a Muslim person to smell or see bacon at breakfast is an insult when I am forced to eat Halal meat. Although, the steak for breakfast was delicious.
There are also double standards as there is still alcohol available around the hotel.
I don't have an issue with religion, but I do have an issue when it is forced on me and my choices are restricted. Happy to choose to book or not book, but please give people the honest information to make their choice. Couldn't recommend a stay here based on that one thing, shame really.

It was the last hotel we stayed in on our trip and while the hotel itself is amazing, the room was not. The decor was a bit old school for my taste, and there was quite a large gap at the bottom of the door leading outside, plenty of room for every Mozzy in a 5 mile radius to get under.
However, the bed was lovely and conformable and the shower was powerful.
Also the location and facilities were amazing.

I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years, but sadly I think it’ll be my last.
The hotel is beautiful in the sense it is furnished in traditional Balinese decor.
I have loved coming here, because it feels like home. The resort is the oldest in Nusa Dua and has beautiful gardens,so that is so relaxing.
The Spa is lovely and staff there are always wonderful.
The concierge were fantastic as my bag didn’t arrive for 2 days ( not the hotels fault),and they were constantly on it with the airport until it arrived.
The breakfast is substantial, but I have noticed it’s gone downhill over the years.
The do have coffee machines, which everyone seems happy about.
The rooms are clean but could use a refresh.Little things that should work without fail, like power points, light bulbs, battery in mirror in bathroom etc don’t.
For some they may think they’re little things but it is listed as a 5 star resort.
Since my stay,I’ve had to have my TV replaced twice ,as it wasn’t working. Will need them to return as still not working on Day 4.
Have had charging devices as power isn’t great.
Currently I have 2 workman fixing my glass door to the balcony which came off its track, when I went onto the balcony.
I guess poor maintenance over the last few years, has seen the hotel deteriorate.
I had a meal at Tamarind which if I hadn’t of paid a good price for, would’ve left it,it was cold and awful.
I have since eaten at nearby hotels , next door which were absolutely delicious.
The staff are great, and they do go out of their way to greet you.
This is listed as a 5 Star hotel, I definitely wouldn’t rate it 5 star, more like
3.5 - 4 star.
I wouldn’t return unfortunately especially after seeing what’s on offer at neighbouring hotels.
