Good things first
*Location was amazing. The hotel leads to the beach which is extremely clean. Loved lazing here
*The staff was very pleasant and friendly and helpful
*The linens were luxurious
* Mattress quality was amazing
* The resort areas were very pretty
*Nice pool so families would really enjoy it
*Enjoyed riding on the cycles
Areas for improvement
*The breakfast buffet was very lacking for vegans
*No options of oats/almond milk. We couldn't get it on day 1. We had to request for it so got the next day which was nice. These are standard options now in most upscale places so request fu0026b head to take notice and incorporate it.
*The Indian vegetarian food was a 5/10 so definitely can be improved.
*Sushi got over by 10am which is not acceptable
*All noodles were egg noodles, fu0026b head please arrange for non egg noodles
*Property looks dated so room for improvement is there
*Not enough vegan/veggie options in the restaurants. Please improve

Stayed here for 3 days. When we arrived they rolled out the welcome carpet for us. I’m sure being a gold member helped! We arrived at 3pm but our room we were upgraded to wasn’t ready. We didn’t mind since they gave us a voucher to hit the afternoon tea. They had small sandwiches, fresh fruits, and small pastries along with coffee or tea.

We finally got our room. We were upgraded to a premium room. The room was huge with a balcony and a big bathroom with a soaking tub. They also gave us a nice fruit platter.

The beds are heavenly! We had a great rest!

Breakfast was incredible! Huge and tons of options. Full American as well as a large selection of Asian food.

We spent every day in a cabana by the beach for 150,000 rupiah with no minimum F and B required. Book your cabana as soon as you arrive. They fill up fast. The pool was also somewhat warm so that was a nice surprise as my wife is always freezing.

Indy is a great host. She made sure we had a 4pm checkout even though they were sold out! We will be back!

This is by far the best place to stay in Bali.
They have free activities in the morning that are worth indulging in. We went on a bike tour around the island and also tried the group yoga lesson. Extremely friendly staff, if you book in advance you can book a room with an ocean view. The resort is by the beach, there are cabanas on the sand where you can hang out or have dinner. They also have kayaks and life jackets that you can use for free to get into the ocean. There are usually also agents on the beach selling packages for activities like snorkeling, jet ski, etc.
Restaurants are quite expensive. Highly recommend staying here for a couple of days to unwind and enjoy Bali.

Such a beautiful resort. So big. Breakfast was amazing. Gym is open 24/7 and staff member Iwan was so helpful at the gym! The staff are all so accommodating. I would recommend to stay here. The hotel leads to the beach front and the hotel rooms were spotless. Perfect for a family to stay as the kids would love the pool area. A+

Great place to spend your summer holiday. The hotel is so big with all in complete facilities.
We really enjoy slow biking by the beach and go around the Nusa Dua. The staff also all friendly. My daughter loves hang out at the kids club as they had so many activities. From morning to evening.
Ms. Kendra, one of the staff, so friendly and smart. She explained about astronomical just like the expert to my daughter. Hope we can comeback here again

Lobby atmosphere is nice and the service is excellent. However, the room is really not worth to be called as a 5 star hotel room since it looks and feels very old! The bed is way too soft and it really made my back quite hurt. Fortunately the restaurant (Seasonal Tastes) is amazing and we love the taste of their food. Simply put, it is really time for them to do some major renovation on the rooms. Otherwise, I don't think this property earns the right to have the Westin name anymore.

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon trip to Bali. This hotel is very average for a supposedly 5-star luxury resort and we did not feel like this hotel was good value for money. Here are some of the issues we had:

1) Upon arrival, our room was changed from the premium suite we had booked to a family room. The family room is essentially two standard rooms - we had no use for a second room as we are a couple and wanted the suite instead. When we spoke to the manager about this, he mentioned that it was because they thought we had kids - we aren’t sure where they got this impression. We ended up asking for a basic room because we noticed that the rooms are quite dated, rusty, and not very clean. We didn’t think that paying $400/night for a suite was worth it especially because we had just come from a brand new hotel in Ubud that charged half of that price (also a Marriott). They gave us what we asked for, and the next day they also offered to upgrade us to the suite as a complimentary gesture. So in the end, we got what we originally booked and the staff were nice about it, but this error should never have occurred in the first place. Although we were happy that the staff accommodated our request for the suite, the room was still not up to the standard we expected - it’s a very old room with analog TV and desperately in need of a refurb. All the carpets they use in the hallways also seem to create an unpleasant smell due to its interaction with the humidity.

2) The breakfast buffet food was a nice spread with a lot of variety and we were quite happy with the quality. However, the service is very disorganized. On our first morning, after we were shown to our table and they had taken our coffee orders, we left our table to get some food. When we came back, they had given our table to other guests and our coffee orders were nowhere to be found. When we told the staff about this, they apologized and gave us another table and re-took our coffee orders, but then said that we should have left our belongings on the table to show that it was taken. In a chaotic breakfast room, we don’t feel comfortable leaving our valuables on the table and we were surprised that the staff would suggest this.

3) everything in this hotel is extremely overpriced for what you get. We had a few drinks and dinner one night at Seasonal Taste then chose to go to other hotel restaurants instead. Seasonal Taste at night had a bad atmosphere with stray cats running around and a giant cockroach in the hallway.

4) the amenities are average. We used the various pools around the hotel and they were nice, but we were expecting more from the beach access. The ocean at the “beach” appears to just be an artificial reef with knee high water so you can’t swim or do any water sports in it. It’s basically just there to relax next to. The gym doesn’t have enough equipment in it - when we used it, there were about 4 other guests there and there wasn’t enough equipment to go around. There is also no shuttle service despite this hotel being far away from any attractions.

Overall, the staff were all very kind and courteous, but we were disappointed with the value for money - this is an old hotel with very high prices by Bali standards and we did not feel it was worth the price we paid. Also this resort seems much more suited for people with families rather than couples.
