This hotel was the biggest disappointment so far. When we arrived, check in took forever because at 5pm our room wasn’t ready! (Check in supposed to be from 2pm in this hotel) it’s not only happened to us, there was another group of people their rooms wasn’t ready as well!
The rooms are old, but cozy. But old. Shower is broken. Water is running super slow and it’s hard to make it warm, it’s always super hot or cold. (Btw bath didn’t have hot water at all)
We didn’t have any shower gel. Also, if you want to get tooth brushes you have to request it only. (Let’s not forger it’s “5 stars hotel”).
They give you some cards for towels in the hotel. You can’t lose this peace of paper ,otherwise you will pay 200.000rp.
For the dinner we went to the hotel restaurant to have some desserts and coffee. And if you want to try the worst cappuccino in your life, welcome to Novotel Bali. It was so bad that we couldn’t drink it at all. Desserts are ok. Nothing special. Fruit plate was also bad coz all the fruits was green, even watermelon. Prices are too high for this. 3 desserts + 2 cappuccinos u003d 500.000rp (tax is 21%)
Breakfast was nothing special.
Staff is SUPER friendly tho.
I stayed in other Novotel hotels, and I really liked them, but this one in Bali is so bad I recommend not to stay here if you don’t want lose your money for nothing.
