New La Scala Restaurant

The food is average. We went there twice only because we were staying at the Grand Mirage.

The cocktails, especially the Singapore sling is not authentic. It tastes like medicinal tonic.

The biggest issue I found with this restaurant is the air conditioning. It has two small Air Cons and it is so bad that it doesn’t even cool the dinning area. Really bad if you are planning to visit on a warm day (which is basically a normal day in Bali!). We were sweating in the dinning area.

Cannot give more than 3 stars. Hope you guys get a better Air con and improve the overall taste.

The staff are sweet and the food is good for the cheap price. Much cheaper than other restaurants and despite other reviews saying the food is terrible, rotten etc, the food is very tasty. I would say reviews complaining of "rotten" food are untrue as my family and I all visited the restaurant many times and not once was any of our food off or smelling rotten. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to give back a little to the Indonesian community as the staff are kind especially one of the female waitresses!

Do not buy from this place. They ripped us off and won't reply to email or phone calls. They charged us 365$ NZ for takeaways for 2 people. (2 pastas, 1 garlic bread and 1 salad. )They added in another number to get more money out of us. The annoying thing is we felt sorry for them as they had not customers so we went back for takeaways the second night and the bill was 40$. It was even cheaper the first night as we didnt' get drinks while we waited. It has put me off going to Bali if they are going to rip off hard working kiwis on their holidays. Forget it!

The food was fantastic. The service was second to none. Best pasta we've had in bali (special mention to the marinara ❤) Even better... the restaurant was straight across the road from our hotel! ???? will eat here again no doubt

All the staffs are very kind, their pizza is very tasty with generous amount of toppings! Pineapple juice is delicious and everything that we've tried there were very good. Congratulations.

Great food, great staff, quick service. It is low season though. I was lured in by being offeted a 12.5% discount on the Lobster. Cocktails were reasonably priced too.

If youre looking for great Italian... come here... i would highly recommend it
