Beautiful space with great wood beams, fountains and art. The food is as tasty as the setting. I think it is the best place serving Indonesian classics in Umalas. Highly recommend coming here for a quieter meal it is well worth it.

I had Ayam Panggang Bumbu Bali and Calamary for lunch. The chicken is grilled properly and the sauce is good. As for the calamary, it was fresh. As long as price not an issue for delicious food, you should definitely try.

It was great to have dinner here, the Indonesian Food was really amazing and the drink so tasty. The staff also helpfully and friendly. Small restaurant with 5 star service and reasonable price.

My Wife and I have been in Bali for two months. So we’ve had a chance to try many different restaurants. This one was one of the best if you’re interested in trying Indonesian and Balinese cuisine.

Not only is the decor really nice but the wait staff is just incredible. They brought us beers and appetizers to get us started before our meal.

It turns out that Merica means chilli pepper in Balinese.

I had the seafood green curry And date campur and my wife had the beef rendang. The curry was solid. It’s less fragrant than Thai green curry but worth trying if you’re in the mood for trying something different. The sate campur was good as well.

However, the beef rendang was excellent. A little sweet and a little spicy. It tastes like a Western beef stew with Indonesian spices and a hint of coconut.

But what really made them stand out is that my wife dropped a glass and it shattered on the floor. A piece of glass sliced my toe and I began to bleed everywhere. One of the wait staff ran off to go get first aid supplies. When she came back, she stopped the bleeding and bandaged my toe.

Can’t go wrong with the food here. All of it is high quality and the ambience is very relaxing. On top of all that, the wait staff will go out of their way to take care of you. Definitely give it a try.

Last thing...if you like dessert, then try the pandan pancake. It’s filled with coconut and served with hot with palm sugar sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was the gold medal winner of our dinner experience here.

The food is delicious, everything cooked with great flavor and really nice owners. Very affordable for the quality!
