The food and atmosphere here is amazing! If you want to dining on the beach, you will need to book for the reservation. The staff here is very friendly. Their happy hour ends at 7pm, during the happy hour, you can buy 1 cocktails and gets 1 for free.
Everything I tried there is pretty good. It’s a bit pricey compare to a regular restaurant in Bali, but I think it’s definitely worth it.

Bali has tons of great restaurants, but if you're looking for great french restaurant Ma Joly is the place.

I was surprised because the price was really affordable for such top quality. The setting/decoration will make you feel relaxed. The food portion is also generous...
One of the best fine dining restaurants in Bali.

I can’t believe this place got 4.5 stars. Avoid! Although the food presentation looks good, it tastes terrible. The lobster bisque was sour, all tastes were off. The restaurant itself is nice for outdoor dinning but be prepared for a lot of mosquitos. I wouldn’t come back or recommend this restaurant.

The food is very awesome!!!!!!!! The staffs are friendly and helpful. What I love the most is the ambience. You can choose to be seated on the beach, while watching the sunset. It's so romantic.

The view is breathtaking. I recommend dinner over lunch; you’ll be able to see the sunset of Jerman Beach clearly, and it’s picturesque.

I ordered aglio olio and soft shell pasta, both are good, worth the price. For the beverage, I ordered mint ice tea and triple berries mocktail. For the appetizer, I ordered calamari. The final price was around 408.000 include 21% tax. Mostly, I was served by Mr. Sandi, he was really nice and friendly.

10/10 for the service.
10/10 for the view.
8/10 for the food and beverage.

This is a boutique restaurant which offers great romantic atmosphere. There are 3 "seperated" dinning areas plus the bar area.
We did not booked and was hoping to have a table on the Kuta beach shore , a marquee setup,but was fully booked. We settled on a table under the main building.
Once we got the attention of the staff to place our orders, there was quite a long wait. The starters, main courses and deserts came in drips and drabs.
I had a fish (cod) and found it very salty and it's confirmed by fellow dinner who tested it.
Our desserts were all rightly misunderstood with it coming from what we ordered, even though the waitress repeated then.
Desserts were not up to our pallete and only a quarter were consumed.
We actually have to look for a waiting staff to come to take our dessert, there was only 4 tables and it's about 8.45pm.
What this place is great is for its fantastic physical location and it's privacy inspite of it sitting along Kuta beach.
It's our second visit after 4 years. Will come again, not for anything but for the location and environment.
I have 4 stars for the environment, but service and food have to be looked at seriously by management or owner

We had Valentine's dinner here Feb 2019. Sat in the restaurant area; we didnt prefer the tent. I have to say, the waitresses are the most beautiful ladies waitresses throughout Bali, and they are gracious, too. All of them. One lent me a fan, very thoughful. (The air was warm, mind you it was highest summer southern hemisphere. I was so distracted, that I couldnt eat).
The food are nice, standard taste, very well presented, cooked with fresh ingredients, prepared with attention to details. Worth of money. Mind you, they are big plates tho.

I think this is one of the supposed classiest resto-bars on the Kuta walking path on German Beach, South Kuta area towards northern Kuta, especially for casual yet fine dining.
Ma Joly is popular to Island's visitors, local business people and local residents alike.

My tips: Inform the waiters kindly before hand for you to be well attended as you ll like to keep ordering, or keep adding orders though the length of your dining.

There are couples other along the beach for meals and dinings; All are very much sweet and nice 100%; and all are cool especially for sundowning, snacks, and coffee / tea time.
Everybody, everyoutlet gives tiptop (super) service around this path. All speak English well.
