The staff were so lovely and friendly and the sheets were clean.
But the walls are very thin so you can hear everyone next door. The place is a lot older than the photos show.
There is no cafe next door.
Also for a solo lady traveller the I didn’t feel safe walking around the neighbourhood so wasn’t able to quickly pop out for food.
Was nice but definitely no what I expected.

The outdoor pool area is beautiful however since covid the hostel has a vibe of an abandoned building. It has a lot of potential but it needs a thorough cleaning and recovery. The kitchen is lacking utensils and some of the items like the large fridge don't work properly. The room is pretty clean and the private washroom/shower area is pretty nice. It would be nice if the rooms had their own TVs and Minifridges. I've also seen some guests having issues with checking in. That said I wouldn't write it off. It has potential and is very beautiful. Hope they work on the few shortcomings then it would be a truly wonderful hostel away from the craziness of Canggu.

Unsure who the staff really were working there? Friendly enough but our room was not cleaned daily (as said) we were provided with no rubbish bin, with no collection of any of our rubbish for 6 days.
Our water would turn off (in shower and sink) and the sink actually did not drain, so it was just a bath of water.
Place is really quite desolate and in the middle of a weird location.

Don't go here. This place isn't worth it at all. We arrived at the hostel and there was absolutely no one to checked us in our room. We waited more than 45min and we even found our room ourselves. They don't know how to manage a hostel. The next day, while checking out, they are requesting us to pay 630 000IRD for the night we already pay online via booking. We told them 3 times we made payement online but they did not believed us. Terrible. We won't stay again at all.

The place is very nice,had a comfortable room u0026 pool bar side.
A great coffee in the morning,and the staff were very friendly.

Kosta was my first ever stay in Bali and first experience of staying in a hostel too.
And since then In love with the concept of hostel.
Kosta is a beautiful place, they have their own restaurant where you get nice food(for vegetarians too) and they are very flexible with check in time.
I will definitely going to come back.

Stayed here when I first arrived in Bali. It's a street away from the main touristy spot and beach but gave the place a peaceful nature. Beds were clean and comfy and other guests were very friendly. Staff was also very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.
