JIB is still the value for money place to eat at in Pererenan. Nice size portions with a diverse menu
The staff have always been consistent with there food, I think it’s got better ???? After living in the village and seeing so much change it’s good to see a old friend.

Thali was very good, very tasty! I wish I could do substitutions and create different varieties like cucumber raita, palak paneer, aloo subji, and paratha.

Great Indian food for very affordable prices! The meal set is served on a proper metal Thali like in India, which is a nice detail.
My boyfriend, who is Indian, missed the authentic Indian flavors and spices in some of the dishes, but still liked the food very much. We figured it is adapted to Western taste a bit. A great thing is that the food was not as oily and heavy as Indian food often is (you can see in the photo the Samosas are not heavily fried as usual). There is a wide variety of dishes available, with many vegetarian and vegan options. I really loved the vegan version of Malai Kofta, highly recommend! Also the Dahl.
On the board outside it says that Chapati and Puri are also available, and we honestly also expected Parathas, but the only “bread” they actually have on the menu inside is Naan, which is actually also different from Naan in India (again, this is probably due to adaptation to Western taste, as Naan is the most popular). Perhaps in the future they can introduce the other options as well!
The people are really sweet and kind and so helpful! They will happily advise you and make adaptations as you like.
This is our favorite Indian restaurant around here. Highly recommend!

I eat from JIB about once a week. Insanely good prices, free delivery in Canggu, and a great vegan kebab dish that’s super filling and tasty!
