Delicious pies!
We got steak u0026 mushroom and steak u0026 cheese. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very flakey u0026 good taste. Meat was tender. Salad had other veggies in it that added flavour.
Coffee was decent too. Next time I think I may want to try the Mince u0026 cheese.

Good but not out of this world. I got the steak and mushroom pie. The crust was really nice and flaky and the filling was decent but I’ve had better Australian/New Zealand meat pies at chain restaurants. Salad was surprisingly really good. The flat white and piccolo latte were a little lacking. Coffee next door at blacklist is same price and much better.

Edit: the last time we went the staff seems super unmotivated. I ordered a second hot chocolate drink and it took 15 minutes just to inform us then that they don’t have almond milk anymore. The last 2 times we went here was not a good experience. Super slow and not so friendly anymore the staff.

One of the best cafe in canggu. Absolutely my favorite one. Friendly staff, comfortable chairs, cozy design, very good coffee and hot chocolate, delicious pastries. We haven’t tried the pies yet though ????

Interior is beautiful but internet in slow, no fans, portions of food are relatively small

This place has been sold unfortunately due to the coronavirus ????
I am a Kiwi and made a special trip here because of the previous reviews.
The original owner I understand has returned back to New Zealand.
The pies are available but the place is no longer called "I make the Pies"
It's now called "The Bread Basket"
It's located in the same building so Google maps will still work but there is a different name.
I chose a mince and cheese pie (Kiwi Classic) and flat white coffee.
Not bad.. But not awesome considering the price ????
It's a shame that the owner hasn't updated the Google maps ????
However it was nice to have a pie n coffee..
But..
Would I come back again ????
No I would not.. Nothing special unfortunately ????

‘I make the pies’ is love at first sight!????Delicious breakfast, amazing pastry and desserts, great coffee and welcoming people. Omg, those scones are heaven????Ulfa is lovely and so smiley! It feels like someone who opened the place is a nice person if he/she (or the whole team) managed to create a great menu and bring nice people together. Highly recommend and will come back for sure????

My first time eating nz pies and I'm glad it was here. The steak and black pepper pie is to die for with strong beef gravy. The chicken and mushroom pie was delicate but equally tasty. Makes want to go New Zealand even more! Mash with gravy compliments the pies very well.
