Nice little open airy shop.
Signature hamburger is really good. Beer is served cold.

The food is a bit greasy ... we had spring rolls that still had grease in and all on the plate and some parts were cold. We also had burgers, decent and delicious. My boyfriend had the cordon bleu with potatoes, that had half the plate covered in oil. My friend got a steak at 103IDR we were hoping for something delicious but sadly disappointed... the waitress definitely forgot to ring it in and they cooked her “medium rare” steak in 3 mins:.. producing a mediocre meal overall.
I would not recommend the food unless you get a burger ...

Best restoration in Kuta! Best prices and of course great stuff! Sudi is the best waiter, say hi when you meet him :)

Hai Wayan Cafe is a restored western-looking cafe, serving mostly Indonesian food and pizza. The minimalistic decor is dotted with a few wise/clever sayings, ie "Remember. Other people's opinions do not pay your bills".
The food is fabulous. The pork ribs I ordered were the best I've had anywhere in the world. The sauce is wonderful, and the meat was tender and literally fell off the bone. And they were served with mashed potatoes which are hard to find in Bali.
For dessert, a good 'ol banana split hit the spot. My friend had the Nutella pizza and loved it. The crust is thin and crispy, not overshadowing the other flavors of the toppings.
The prices are not expensive, and the service is excellent.
Hats off to Sudi who gave the best service I've had in all of Indonesia.
I highly recommend Hay Wayan and will be returning soon to get another ribs fix.

Wifi was fast and good.
The spring rolls was great, very fresh tasting.
The burgers are bad. There was weird bits in the beef burger.
The staff was lovely though.

This is not the first time I've been here and have had good experiences with food and staff .... but tonight I had a hankering for some ribs ...I'd thought of going some where else in Kuta but opted for this place across from the Swiss-belle .... disappointed !!!! ... the ribs were cold the first time they came out .. so they said they would cook new ones .... the next lot were mediocre but half the size of the first lot .... I love the spring rolls there so that why I go there but now I'm not so sure I will return ... it's a pity because I did like the place ????????

Waitresse very very nice, but the only big problem is that we wait for 1hours to have 3 small salads and 1 pizza. The food was okay but to much waiting.
