Get Inked at Bali Ink is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone considering getting a tattoo in Bali.
I visited the Kuta studio on the recommendation of three other family members who have had multiple tattoos done there.
In 2018, I had a part of a sleeve started by Tika, which was my first ever tattoo experience. In 2020, I returned to have the sleeve finished and couldn’t be happier with it!
Tika is a creative genius, with an excellent eye for design and great attention to detail. She is very experienced and thorough with the consultation process, and always has a lot of helpful ideas and suggestions for the design if you aren’t 100% sure about what will suit you or the placement. Her skills are very strong with mandala work, as well as black and grey realism portraits. My sleeve includes two portraits of my pet cats and she captured their likenesses so accurately! Tika has a lovely energy and always does a great job of making me feel comfortable and ensuring I am OK throughout the entire tattoo process.
As other reviews have noted, the studio is hospital-grade clean, and all of the equipment is state-of-the-art. On my recent visit, I noticed that they seem to have upgraded their tattoo machines to make the interchanging of needles much easier for the artists, so the tattoo work can be completed faster and more efficiently, which is really amazing.
All of the staff are friendly and professional, making sure you feel welcome. Overall the studio has a chill and relaxed vibe. The owners are also really nice to chat to and give good advice on tattoo aftercare. They invited me to come back to the studio a few hours before my flight back to Sydney for an additional cleaning just to be on the safe side, which I really appreciated.
Thanks so much for looking after me and for creating the sleeve of my dreams! I’ll definitely be back for more.
