Food gets 4 star but menu choices, price and ambiance get 2.

The reasons?
1. Outdoorsy was uber hot, mind you its pretty much dining in a glass house with few wall fans on. HOT. Don't make the same mistakes like we do and come during lunch hour.

2. Indoor was not that hot - it's an aircon area with comfortable seats but mosquitoes all over the place! We had to move back to the front/outdoorsy area, sigh. And the mosquitoes followed us. It was that unpleasant for us but feast for the mosquitoes.

3. Our service staff was a trainee and didn't know what's in the menu, he did ask his senior, whom replied "you can just see the photo". Okaaay.

4. At the bottom of each page on the menu book, it's stated that we only need to pay government tax 10 percent. Truth is, there's a hidden service tax 11% so we're slapped with 500k bill for an appetizer, 2 mains, an ice tea, and a cocktail. Too much for this kind of establishment.

That's the 4 reasons that make us not coming back. Food taste okay, fresh pasta was pretty alright, but it's not that exceptional that will let us forgive the uncomfortable place. And why did my iced lychee tea get no lychee fruit?

I get it now why it's empty during lunch hour 2 pm.

I come here more than 10 times for food and drinks, the place is very cosy and the food is great! The staff are all friendly and very helpful, also Kadek Ardini is really friendly and was helpful to me whilst I was here, her hospitality was great :) I recommend this place!

Hidden pearl, if you are looking for outstanding food from a professional chef. From outside this place appears like many others in the neighborhood, but inside you will find a stylish restaurant. There are many great dishes to choose from. The food was very delicious and presented nicely. There is an open kitchen where you can follow the preparation of you orders. Great thing! I ate the best Gnocchi ever in my life so far. Really liked our stay and staff was very polite. There are only two things I'd recommend for improvement. Please use dessert spoons (small header, but long in whole) and train your staff (waitresses) to serve more tables at the same time and speed up the food serving, once it's done for eating (right after the bell rings). Besides, absolutely to recommend!

Wow!!!! The chefs are incredible!

The whole team attentive. This is a restaurant with TRUE fine dining. Three course meal of delicious dishes. I had a craving for lamb shank, I have had a lot of Lamb Shanks in my years and this is the best I have ever had! The food was outstanding and the chefs should be damn proud of there quality they produced! Cocktails are out of this world.

As this was our honeymoon last evening dish we splashed out on Cocktails, but for the quality of food and drinks you get the price is well worth it! Well done guys! Seriously well done. When we come back to Bali I WILL be coming hear again! Want to spoil your partner this is the palace to do it!

We placed our order and the waiter came back to tell us, the item my date wanted was all gone so he chose another.. then maybe 15-20 mins later, the waiter came back again to tell me the item I wanted was all gone as well.. why did it take so long for them to figure this out?? I chose another item, i was told it was also all gone... Very disappointing.. I settled on the duck and my date got the chicken.. Then my dates food came out far ahead of mine since they waited way too long to tell me they were out of what I originally wanted. My date was able to finish his meal by the time mine actually arrived. Do we not understand that people should be served their food at the same time so they can eat together??? We were asked if we wanted dessert, we took a look but nothing interested us.. they then offered us a complimentary dessert... Only after the fact that we didn't order one. I feel like that should have been offered off the bat. The dessert we got wasn't even on the menu but I will say this, it was delicious. Our meals were also delicious but vegetable portions were very small. For example, my dates dish was described to come with carrots... He literally got 1 carrot. Kind of a joke if you ask me.

Two thumbs up for staff politness
I was impressed with the decoration
But need to improve the variety of menus and need to point out what the specialities are
